POSTS STORIES REELS
In my element... I am Danielle, a former teacher who started working with glass in 2016 as a hobby, which then evolved into a small business, then a total addiction! Having experimented with colour, pattern and design, I enjoyed sharing what I did at market stalls, galleries and local shops. As demand grew for my workshops, which I began running remotely, I took the leap in 2023 to make this my full time job! I really value creativity, community and providing the opportunity for (mostly) women to connect, escape the madness and enjoy getting creative together. I am also privileged to help (mostly) women celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, weddings and retirements, sharing stories, tea and biscuits while laughing, chatting and enjoying the occasional silence when concentrating 😂 I now have a studio and retail space at Curborough Countryside Centre, which a lovely community of creatives and small independent businesses, as well and an amazing restaurant, cafe and popular garden centre. I feel really lucky to be part of this community and wanted to thank you for joining me on my journey, helping make our corner of the world a more creative place. I am still learning and growing and excited to try lots of new techniques. This year I have been experimenting with glass powders and larger freestanding flowers, which I would love to share with you soon. I run workshops every week and offer a different theme each month, inspired by the changing seasons. We have templates and materials to follow along with the theme, or alternatively you can get creative and choose a different design if you prefer. Workshops run every Friday and Saturday if you fancy getting creative, trying something new and joining us sometime. Private parties run in the week (if there are 4+ people) and children’s sessions run during the holidays too. I have glass gifts and gift vouchers for sale, and also accept commissions if there is something special I can help you with ☺️ Feel free to come and say hello, or drop me a message to book or ask any questions. I’d love to welcome you sometime ✨ #behindthescenes #smallbusiness #lichfield #craftworkshop #welcome by @theelementsglass
Our monthly themes… Workshops run every Friday and Saturday with private parties (4+ people) in the week. Workshops are generally 6-8 people and we have a different theme each month that you can follow along. Beginners are welcome and you can choose family friendly materials (no cutting or sharp edges). Alternatively if you have a different idea or fancy getting creative, you have access to the full range of tools and materials if you wish. Workshops start at £40 and I’d love to welcome you sometime ✨ #smallbusiness #creativetime #birthdaytreat #retirementideas #handmadegifts by @theelementsglass

Sorry I’ve been quiet on here the last few weeks!… There is only so much you can do when trying to juggle so many hats, all at the same time!! 🤪 As you will know, for me, running my workshops is where I put my time and energy and we are having a great time making lanterns this month🥳 Sitting behind a screen is the bit I like the least 😂🤦🏻‍♀️, so with the help of the wonderful @lucieanneart, I now have a shiny new website and integrated booking system to make booking easier for us both!! 🙌✨ Feel free to check it out!! https://www.theelementsglass.co.uk Festive workshops will be running every Friday and Saturday throughout November and December, with a maximum of 8 people per session. Saturdays are filling particularly quickly, but private parties of four or more people may still be possible in the week or on a Sunday (if there is enough kiln space available that week) ✨ If you have already made a booking directly with me, it’s in the diary and will look forward to welcoming you soon. If you haven’t, please use the booking system to select a date and time that best suits you ✨ If your preferred date is no longer available, feel free to drop me a message and I can look for any spaces or add you on my cancellation list ☺️ All pieces made in our workshops will then be professionally fired and finished for you to collect in a week ❄️ by @theelementsglass
Lovely lovely landscapes… 🤩 by @theelementsglass
Can’t decide on a seasonal coaster design? Perhaps do all four and either use them or put them in a frame! 🤩 by @theelementsglass
