On this day five years ago, I made the choice to live my life alcohol free and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. I didn’t struggle with addiction. I never enjoyed what alcohol had to offer me. I drank in social situations as a form of people pleasing…. Why did other people care what was in my cup?! And why did I care to drink just to make them happy?! After an evening of far too many bubbles, I knew that was enough for me. I broke up with alcohol and I never looked back. It was the first step in leading a life that felt truly authentic and aligned. Today I’m a happy & healthier person with better boundaries. I hope I’ve offered some encouragement & helped open some conversations around #zeroproof cocktails through the work we do at @theelevatedelixir. I’m always here if you need support! This sunshine dreams up the most delicious dishes and drinks. Definition of a girl’s girl, Chef Jenny brought me a refreshing three berry lemonade when I was filming a client’s event, gave me a bts tour of @luckybeekitchen, remembered I had kids and packaged grilled cheese to go for them! by @theelevatedelixir

The Cherry Bombe is our edit on the #EspressoMartini. With velvety layers of mocha, bright cherry, brown sugar and cinnamon, it’s the perfect way to celebrate #nationalcoffeeday.

The Cherry Bombe
4 oz @lyresspiritco coffee originale
2 oz Cherry, brown sugar, cinnamon simple syrup
A dash of @allthebitter New Orleans Bitter
Cherry to garnish
1/2 cup of ice

In a shaker, combine ice, ☕️ liqueur (zero proof) and simple syrup. Shake and pour into a chilled 🍸 glass. Finish with a dash of New Orleans Bitters and garnish with 🍒. taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @theelevatedelixir

With delicate floral notes & citrus zest, #DryJanuary is a breeze with this recipe. 🌼🥂🧡

A Walk In The Park

Ingredients:
2 oz @optimistdrinks Bright
2 oz Lemongrass Simple Syrup
1 oz @bettybuzz Meyer Lemon Club Soda
½ oz Rose Water
Crushed Ice
Edible Flowers

Directions:
Combine crushed ice, Optimist Bright, Lemongrass Syrup, and Rose Water in a shaker and shake away.

Strain mixture into @viskicraft coupe glass, filling halfway.

Pour Meyer Lemon soda over mixture.

Top with edible flowers.
