You ever want to play an original 1966 Marshall Supa Fuzz MKI, a Dallas Rangemaster, a 1962 Maestro FZ-1 or a prototype R2R Electric pedal? Well now you can at @fretboardsummit this August! On Friday August 21st @theemadcap1 and I will be hosting a presentation along with my friend @hand.habits helping us out on the guitar. We’re going to dive into the history and legacy of these early fuzz boxes that shaped the sound of music. From the moment they came onto the scene in the mid 1960’s, there has been no modern style of music that hasn’t been greatly impacted by the invention of the guitar pedal. Come and see exactly why that is after our presentation. We will bring these pedals down to @vintageampspodcast vintage amp room for you guys to come and play. It’s going to get loud! Gemini Rising - Welcome to my Bornday. As I come upon another pass of my starting time on this Celestial body, I want to take a moment to show gratitude for my family, friends, and all those that have helped me (Also, shout out to any detractors/haters…!).You all made me get to this moment. Where is here? This prescient, present moment where I still draw breath and do what I love - make and play music with my friends. This day, 6/6/26, is also the public release of an awaited new single “The Muse”. A song I wrote recently from lyrics that I found from 23 years ago. They’re about my GF at the time, who’s been my wife now for 20 years. We gotta show @theicehouse_az for @resonancephx this Friday 4/24/26 with a bunch of great Phoenix bands. We have played the Ice House a half dozen times but our first real show was headlining the Life Festival, July 4th, 2002. We have played shows all over that warehouse but we will be back in our favorite space, the Cathedral Room this Friday. 1960s VOX VIPER V289, preowned by @thebrianjonestown Thx @spycats_music ❤️Guitar has it’s original non-Trem tailpiece included; currently an original 1950s Bigsby is added and works stunning‼️Same effects as in the EKO Cygnus plus a „tuner“😉😂Let me know what you think guys! WEM PROJECT IV the 5th man guitar😳 READ⬇️Picked this one up today. It came including papers, case and strap from the original owner who was with the guitar since the 1960s..All original, prestine condition and no, it’s not heavy ( though there’s a lot of science packed into this rare bird)❣️I’ll do an extended post including an introduction to the technical aspects as soon as @docforamps had a closer look on the circuit.There’re 2 static magnets at the end of the neck ( toward the body ) that induce kinda electric-current in the strings as soon as they start vibrating. Looks like there’s a fuzz unit connected to every single saddle of the bridge which are electrically insulated from the rest.Also looks like there’s „STING“ activates a „Treble Booster“.Also looks the guitars dry signal can be blended with the effect . I show that in one of the 3 clips.More demos as soon as it’s working proper again.Feel free to leave a comment below.
