When you’re in the Halloween spirit, but your client is in their feelings. 😂🎃👻#theemdrguide #emdrfunnyreel #traumahealing #emdrtherapist by @theemdrguide
😇 Not all angels walk the Victoria’s Secret runway… some of us walk into therapy rooms carrying a Meebie, an EMDR kit Light Bar, and a whole lot of hope. 😂💚✨ No wings required—just a little bilateral stimulation, a trauma-informed approach, and a belief in the brain’s ability to heal. 🧠💫#theemdrguide #meebie #emdrtrainer #traumahealing by @theemdrguide
“Notice that.” “Go with that.” “What do you notice now?” 😂 If you’re an EMDR therapist, you know we say these phrases on repeat! But behind those familiar words is the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, which reminds us that the brain has a natural capacity to process experiences and move toward healing. 🧠✨ And sometimes, the work is about saying less, getting out of the way, and trusting the client’s own system to do what it needs to do. We don’t have to lead the healing; we create the space for it to happen. 💙 Because EMDR is so much more than a set of phrases. It’s about presence, attunement, and trusting the process. 🤍 #EMDR #EMDRTherapist #AIPModel #Theemdrguide #EMDRTherapy by @theemdrguide

EMDR + Meebie 🧸💙 Meebie can be a fun and engaging tool for helping children express emotions, communicate experiences, and feel more comfortable during therapy. When integrated thoughtfully into EMDR, Meebie can support play-based communication and help children connect with feelings, thoughts, body sensations, and experiences that may be difficult to put into words. #EMDR #EMDRwithChildren #PlayTherapy #Meebie #theemdrguide by @theemdrguide
