As evidenced by this awesome vintage Carla Marchi Italian leather shoulder bag from the ‘80s.

It’s a beige frame shoulder bag with a leather, lace & textured patchwork all over the outside. It has epic statement 3-strand neural beaded tassels at the front center.

The bag has 2 nondetachable leather shoulder straps, a zipper across the top frame & beige vinyl interior with 1 zip pocket.
.
The bag is a good size & roomy, making it practical as well as epic. A super cool retro piece! 🤎

Ever dream of exploring the halls of a creepy Victorian mansion with a candelabra at 3 AM? THIS is your dress. 🕯️
.
It’s an **awesome** vintage Donna Richard for Gilligan O’Malley hostess dress from the late ‘70s or early ‘80s that 100% works as a uniquely seasonal goth maxi dress.
.
It’s deep green velvet (technically triacetate & nylon) & features an asymmetrical statement ruffle that goes around the neck & down the side.
.
There are also indented stripes below & to the side of the ruffle with an asymmetrical stop that are kinda giving harp vibes.
.
The dress has long sleeves with (I think intentionally) loose elastic at the wrists. It’s unlined & floor length, & it has an asymmetrical zipper hidden by the ruffle, topped by a snap.

ALL the retro goth Victorian vibes. 🖤🖤

This is a gorgeous Catherine Malandrino silk-blend dress from ca. 2012. It’s purple with an allover black sheer lace overlay.
.
The dress has long sheer lace sleeves with a mockneck that ties in the back. The sleeves, ties & overlay bottom have cooled scalloped hems.
.
(Note about the ties: They are asymmetrical, but I don’t think the shorter one has been cut. I think they were originally designed that way because the shorter tie has the same scalloped hem intact.)
.
The dress is backless, it’s roughly knee-length depending on height & it has a split at the back center. It’s a silk blend (with nylon) that zips down the back, beginning under the cutout, topped by a hook-&-eye closure.

It’s bright red & minimalist, but with a combined halter/racerback cut featuring 5 straps in the front & plunging sides in the back.

The dress is a lined triacetate/polyester blend, it falls roughly above-the-knee depending on height & zips down the back.
