Most actors never see themselves like this.
This is what @jcaliendodirector and @innertreemedia captured — not just a performance, but a character coming to life through a cinema lens. And with a great #castingdirector #sagaftra #behindthescenes #filmcommunity actorsofinstagram by @theequalizer253

No studio. No shortcuts. No excuses.
Just a crew that showed up with everything they had and made something real.
This is how movies are made being built from the ground up — every light placed, every frame earned.indiefilm #blackcinema #comingsoon #behindthescenes #onset #nycfilm by @theequalizer253

This is the frame before everything changes.

Most people see the final cut.
Nobody shows you this part — the director and DP locked in, building the shot from scratch.
@jcaliendodirector and @innertreemedia don’t guess. They engineer every frame with intention. #indiefilmmaker #indiedirector #nycfilmmaker #cinematographer #directorofphotography by @theequalizer253

The setup is everything.
@jcaliendodirector getting the shot dialed in while the cast stays ready.
This is the moment most people never see — where the magic actually gets built.

This is the moment before everything clicks.
Two actors. One scene. A crew that refuses to settle for good enough. Shout out to @aneikafermin one hell of an actress @innertreemedia #indiefilmmaker #indiedirector #filmwriter #nycfilmmaker #cinematographer by @theequalizer253

Before every take there’s a moment.
Director gives the note. You take it in. Camera rolls.
That split second between direction and action is where the real work happens. You never see the crew in the final cut.
But this is who actually makes the scene happen — the camera op, the BTS team, the people freezing in a warehouse at 4ammaking sure every shot lands.

They said indie film was dead.
We said watch.
Shot this in the streets of NYC with nothing but vision, a crew that believed, and lights that hit different at 3AM.

No one’s coming to save you. You’ve got one body, one shot. Push through the pain, the doubt, the excuses. Get up. Stay up. Show up. 🎬 Excited to share some incredible news with you all! 🎥 I had the honor of being a part of an impactful film, "Junction," directed by the talented Brian Greenberg (you might know him from 'How to Make It in America' – one of my favorites!). The movie delves into the modern-day opioid crisis, unfolding the story through the eyes of an addict, a drug company CEO, and a doctor – all in just one day.

Shoutout to @bryangreenberg for bringing me on board for this powerful project! 🙌✨ Now, I invite you to join me in experiencing this thought-provoking narrative. Catch it in theaters or on all major VOD platforms starting January 26th!
