FROM THE STREETS OF HARLEM, TO THE HEART OF BALLROOM, TO THE BROADWAY STAGE!

This was not easy work. I’d say it is one of the most difficult jobs I’ve ever had. This was also one of the most fruitful and eye opening experiences. To enter this show and be challenged the way I was, I have to admit that I surprised myself and became proud of the work I presented.

Thank you cast, creatives, and crew for believing in me. I don’t know what is next…and of course I’m nervous about that. Whatever it is, I hope I can continue the mission of the ancestors and be as visible, joyful, and authentic as possible. “The mystical divinity of unashamed felinity” will remain in my heart as I continue my journey in the wild world of theater!

Dear La Cage Aux Folles, I have received so much from you. An incredible love for the icon that is Grace Jones. A newfound love of dance and makeup. A trust in my own individual relationship to gender identity and expression. A cast and creative team of beautiful minds which I can now call friends. Lastly, an astounding resonance in the follow words.

“I am what I am and what I am needs no excuses”

Thank you to those that came to support! I am grateful beyond words and hopefully what this show represents has touched those able to see it. The nightclub is closed for now but the experience will live on in me.

Ta Ta…..for now 😌

Lilith U.C. As “The Crooner”
GP GNC Performance @ The Gotham Ball

Recap: This ball helped me to acknowledge a few strengths and weaknesses in my vogue ( gag i fell out of a dip for the first Time). Most of all, i was reminded that I love to PERFORM. Support from my house gave me such energy and dancing was euphoric. I am excited to come back stronger and better to snag the coin at the next function 🙏🏾 by @theernestallen
