Hey guys! My name is Myrella and I’m a licensed esthetician. I specialize in facials, liquid lipo, and body sculpting and I truly love being a business owner and getting to pamper you all 💕

Aside from my business, my most important role is being a mommy 💙 I became a mom 10 months ago to my son, who has been the biggest blessing and my reason to keep going and growing. He’s my biggest motivation every single day.

When I’m not in the spa, you’ll usually find me with my family, my best friends, or at the gym 🏋🏽‍♀️ The gym is my version of self care I go 5-6 days a week and it’s where I recharge and get my “me time.”

Dermaplaning will forever be one of my favorite services to do 🤍✨

There’s just something about the whole process removing that buildup and peach fuzz, watching the skin instantly look smoother and brighter, and seeing that fresh GLOW at the end 😍

But my favorite part? Knowing you got to relax, shut your brain off for a little while, and leave my treatment room feeling refreshed and confident in your skin.

That feeling when y’all look in the mirror after your facial like “okayyyy skin 👀✨” gets me every time 😂

A little treatment room reset 🧼✨ because the work doesn’t stop when the facial ends!

Today’s cleanup included organizing my tools, refreshing my Barbicide, and giving my steamer a deep clean and disinfect.

And if you know…you know 😂 that vinegar smell when you clean a facial steamer is NO JOKE. After the initial clean, I run distilled water through it and let it steam again to help get that vinegar smell out. Then I give the container another rinse, refill with fresh distilled water, and run it once more. ✨

And of course, right in the middle of cleaning, my little guy woke up from his nap 😂🤍 Mom life! Any downtime I get while he’s napping, I try to take full advantage of it and pour that time into my business. Sometimes that means content, sometimes admin work, and sometimes it’s literally cleaning my treatment room. 😂

Balancing motherhood, a 9–5, and running The Esty Bar isn’t always easy, but we make it work. 🫶🏽

It may seem like the “boring” behind-the-scenes stuff, but maintaining a clean, organized treatment space and properly caring for my equipment is such an important part of what I do.

Life has really been LIFING lately 😭🤍

Business has been extremely slow, and I’m still figuring out what balance looks like between working my 9–5, motherhood, life, and still finding the time and energy to pour into my business.

Right now, my biggest priority is being present for my son. I’m learning that I don’t have to do everything at once, and sometimes certain things may move a little slower while I focus on what matters most.

The Esty Bar is still very much my baby too, and I’m not giving up on what I’ve built. 🤍 I’m just giving myself grace while I figure out this season of life.

Some days I wonder how I’m supposed to do it all…then I remember why I started. 🤍

Being a mom will always come first.
Working my 9–5 keeps me grounded.
And building The Esty Bar is the dream I refuse to give up on.

Is it exhausting? Absolutely 😂
Do I always have it together? NOPE.
But every day I get up and keep going because I’m building something for me and my son.

A little more personal than what I normally share on here…🤍

This year changed me in ways I’m still learning how to put into words. I went through an ectopic pregnancy and lost a baby I wanted, and navigating that while still being a mom, working, running my business and simply trying to be me has not been easy.

I’ve had moments where I disappeared, moments where I didn’t feel like showing up, and moments where I questioned so much. But The Esty Bar has also been one of the places that reminds me that I’m still here, still building and still becoming.

I’m sharing this because behind the business, the appointments, the content and everything you see on social media…there’s a real person going through real life too.

And if you’re watching this and you’re going through your own loss, grief, motherhood struggles, or just a season where life feels heavier than usual, please know you’re not alone. 🤍

When you come into my space, I want you to know you never have to have it all together. You can come as you are. Whether you need to talk, laugh, cry, yap the whole appointment or just lay there in silence and have a moment to yourself you are supported here.

The Esty Bar will always be more than just skincare and treatments to me. I want it to be a safe space where women can take a moment for themselves, feel cared for, and leave feeling a little more like themselves again. 🤍

Giving myself grace in a season where I thought I should be doing more. 🤍

Business has been slow, life has been heavy, and there have definitely been moments where I questioned whether I should keep going.

But when I look back at everything I’ve navigated while still being a mom, working my 9–5, healing, growing and trying to build The Esty Bar…I realize I’m doing better than I give myself credit for.

Maybe this season isn’t about how many appointments are on my books.

Maybe it’s about continuing to show up even when things aren’t going the way I imagined.

I still believe in what I’m building. I still believe my time is coming. And most importantly, I’m still here. 🥹🤍

So y’all know I love my girl Jess downnnn 💕She came over for a facial and a good yap session because obviouslyyy.

And listen…as estheticians, we KNOW better, but we’re also guilty of picking at our own faces when we see a breakout or blemish 😭🙋🏽‍♀️ I’m just as guiltyyyy.

Before we went in with her facial, I did a quick skin analysis 🔍

A skin analysis is basically me taking a closer look at your skin before we start your treatment. I’m checking things like:

✨ Your skin type dry, oily, combination, etc.
✨ Hydration levels
✨ Texture & congestion
✨ Breakouts/blemishes
✨ Hyperpigmentation or dark spots
✨ Sensitivity & irritation
✨ Your overall skin barrier
✨ What your skin actually NEEDS that day

Because your facial shouldn’t just be me throwing products on your face and hoping for the best 😂 Your skin tells me what it needs, and the skin analysis helps me customize your treatment around you and your current skin concerns.

Kinda chic to be a mom AND a CEO. 🤍✨

Building a business around motherhood hasn’t always been easy. Some days I’m in full CEO mode, other days mom life needs all of me and I’m learning that both can exist at the same time.

I don’t want to choose between being present for my son and building something of my own. I want to create a life where I get to do both.

Slow seasons, busy seasons, mom seasons… I’m still building. 🥹
