It’s not one thing. It’s a bunch of little decisions throughout the night that keep people dancing.

Here’s what makes the difference:

• A DJ who reads the room, watches the crowd and adjusts in real time
• No prerecorded sets. Every song and transition is chosen based on what’s happening in front of us
• Knowing when to stay with a vibe and when to switch it up
• Playing for the people in the room, not just whatever is trending
• Smooth transitions that keep the energy moving
• Knowing when to raise the energy and when to give people a breather
• Lighting that changes the entire feel of the room
• The right sound setup so the music actually hits the way it should
• Keeping different ages and different music tastes involved
• Knowing how to turn a good song into a full dance floor moment
• Experience! Just because you know how to DJ, doesn’t mean you can keep a dance floor full. It doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time and effort to learn.

And honestly, you can have the best playlist in the world and still have an empty dance floor.

It’s about using your experience to get to know the crowd quickly, paying attention, and making hundreds of small adjustments throughout the night.

That’s what our team is doing while the guests can relax and have a great time!!

Not every wedding has the bride behind the DJ booth, people on each other’s shoulders, and staff joining the dance circle... but we’re happy when it does. 😂

Safe to say this crowd understood how to party.

We loved being part of the madness and keeping the night going right until the end. Congratulations and thank you for having the @theeventguymtl team!
