Proud. Sitting here writing this post that Iā€™ve deleted 8 times trying to find the right words lolā€¦ thereā€™s one word that just keeps coming back to me. And itā€™s proud. I still remember this day with you like it was yesterday momma! Good ole discovery parkā€¦ I remember burning the šŸ’©out of myself out of that one metal ass slide they had! It didnā€™t matter though. I was a king in his castle and you were magician that made it all real. I see a picture of us and am always flooded with emotion. When I look at this picture with you, Iā€™m reminded that no matter where Iā€™m at on my journey, no matter what obstacles I face, that I can attack them head on, with a smile (maybe an old navy hat), knowing that Iā€™ve got you to watch over me. Special shout out to all of the artists that helped me pull this one through, @kipp_stone , @omelomusic , @trekmanifest . Mother i terrified. Today I was scrolling and a video of a person dying popped up on my feed. I had every opportunity to scroll away. Yet for some reason my morbid curiosity led me to watch it. It was a stark reminder not only of our mortality, but of a world that has become all too comfortable with the gruesome and horrific. I often wonder about the short and long term consequences of this material being available to the regular person. Decided to write over Kendrickā€™s ā€œmother i soberā€. One of my favorite songs of his. First verse is from the perspective of the average white person, and their interaction with the black experience. Nolan Wells has been on my mind heavy as of late and I think that definitely influenced the lense. Second verse is from my perspective and serves as a rally cry for where Iā€™m at and what I stand for. Fuck racism. Felt like I should share. by @theexchnge

Over the last few months we have really experienced some extreme highs, and some extreme lows. Life is fast moving, and tirelessly pulling us in 50 million directions, but I am happy that no matter where life takes me, Iā€™ll be tethered to my best friendā€¦ My partner in crimeā€¦Truly the love of my life. Life really is beautiful when you sit back, take all your plans and aspirations and give it up to god. My birthday has been filled with mixed emotions these past few years since mom. This past few weeks have been a whirlwindā€¦. Iā€™ve felt support from my community of friends and family in ways I never have before, and more importantly, I started putting my dreams back at the forefront of my goals, and believing in myself again. In the past week I was able to start a crowdfunding campaign, itā€™s a 30 day campaign and already in a week Iā€™ve almost reached my goal!! (Link in bio if you wanna help me) I created my Patreon which is linked aswell, where I post behind the scenes content and let you get to know me a little more and knocked out 2 recording sessions (6/11 songs finished šŸ”„) Momma, I hope you know Iā€™ve got an amazing group of people who love and support me. Iā€™ve had a hard time approaching the subject of loosing mom. It comes in waves, and throughout Iā€™ve been able to find some ways to cope. My mom graced so many people with her incredible presence. Her smile and energy was the most welcoming Iā€™ve ever experienced. She LOVED. Truly, and deeply. I miss you everyday, and I hope I emulate even a fraction of the beauty you brought into a room.
