Picture Locked @two.thefilm

There is a strange silence that comes with reaching the end of a timeline.
Not because the work is over, but because you remember everything it took to get there.

This film was shaped between uncertainty and long roads. When my studio got flooded, the work didn’t stop. The edit moved to my laptop, and the journey became part of the process, A 35 minute drives that often turned into an hour through traffic, carrying the timeline back and forth until the story finally found its shape.

I’ve come to believe that films remember the hands that make them. They remember the nights that stretched too long, the detours no one sees, the moments when stopping would’ve been easier.

Every frame on that timeline carries more than cuts and transitions; it carries persistence.

I’m proud of this film. Proud that we kept going.

See you soon, @two.thefilm taken in Accra, Ghana by @theeyevan

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of speaking at a workshop organized by @_temporecords_ where I shared insights on Music in Filmmaking with an amazing group of musicians, producers, and music enthusiasts. Great energy, curious minds. Great time. by @theeyevan
