“That’s it” Thought about the word surrender while taking these photos of myself. I’d never been so in touch with all the sensations that come with being photographed like I did with these. blindfolded myself for a photo and ngl it was liberating and uncomfortable to allow myself to really feel the surrender that came with it. These edits were my brain letting go, letting the photo guide me, pushing and pulling colors, taking away belly buttons to add saturation, no thinking “what should” and not narrowing down the selects based - leaving judgement and ego aside I would like to do mini series like this with my community- we choose a backdrop, props, and place to set up and just go for it. HMU if your interested in working together on this August and beyond. by @thefairyboi

“wondrous” (2026) | a celebratory ode to queerness.I’m thoroughly excited and overjoyed to share this short, an assemblage of footage I filmed on the sets of several productions over the years – all helmed and brought to life by my close friends and collaborators, Sunyoung Kim (김선영) and Jealyn Mcfadden. This is, first and foremost, a testament to their vision, heart, and infinitely creative spirit. Also, this is only a glimpse into the magic they alchemized. Thank you.Set to Nicholas Britell’s “Agape,” the uplifting and divine score at the heart of Barry Jenkins’ “If Beale Street Could Talk” (2018), in addition to excerpts from a few of Ocean Vuong’s interviews, it is my greatest hope that “wondrous” offers some respite, restoration, and renewal – even if only for a handful of minutes. by @thefairyboi

I don’t really care about visibility… I want us to be seenI was thinking today about photos of myself and realized when I started transitioning I stopped letting people take photos of me, I stayed behind the camera unless it was for myself and started focusing on how to photograph trans people in a way that brought euphoria, comfort and safety. In a world where the cis gaze is constant, this work feels so healing to me and it’s not for anyone but my community. I want people see me as much as I see them so here are some of my favorite self portraits I’ve shared and also haven’t shared by @thefairyboi

GOODMORNING!!!! The rumors are true, Lil Park Drag Show will be returning in the warmer months of 2026! We’re slowly waking up from our slumber, emerging from hiatus rested and encouraging people to join our organizing team! This is a call for organizing roles ONLY, which means you’d be helping with behind the scenes stuff leading up to show season. We’re not quite sure what Lil Park is gonna look like this year, but lets figure it out together! Being on the organizing team may involve planning, fundraising, grant writing, sharing ideas, thoughts + opinions, helping with/delegating BTS tasks, communication with other team members, collective decision making, zoom calls and more. LPDS is a T4T production - paid roles will be reserved for trans folks. However, cis people are very encouraged to volunteer! Interest form link in bio, and please join us for a zoom call on January 20th 6-9pm EST if youre free! **If you’ve been on the lil park team before and want to be again, please still fill out this form!** Super excited to return to this space so many of us share so much love for. To be super transparent, planning an event series, especially one like this, is incredibly rewarding but also takes a lot of work! Lil Park is the only open-to-all, trans centered, outdoor drag show that exists in NYC, maybe anywhere(??). We’re filling a very important gap in much needed all-äges queer/trans/drag/etc spaces right now. This scarcity makes it all the more important that Lil Park Drag Show is able to survive and thrive.
