Bushwacking on horse paths near Chatfield.
Finally back on the bike after weeks of work, and it felt wonderful 🌈.

First rip on the new grocery getter 🌈!
Also, first lesson learned… when unloading, take things out of each side equally 😁 taken in Over the Hills & Far Away by @thefalseflat

Best of luck to all the riders and racers of the @thehundo_mtb tomorrow!
I went out for a leisurely spin on parts of the course yesterday and, except for a few loose and sandy bits, the trails are running beautifully. My @maxxisbike Aspen tires were running fast on the flowy trails and the @santacruzbicycles Blur CC is so planted and snappy. Wish I could be out there with you all! @sellerepente @neoprocycling

Bicycles have always meant independence and adventure for me. From the time I could ride around the block on my own, my bicycle opened my world and continues to transport me to new places. In recent years, the bicycle has given me back my life. After years of too much fun, too many late nights turning into early mornings, my body gave me a reality check and I began to have heart arrhythmias. The doctors told me that over 20% of my heartbeats were affected, but I didn’t need them to tell me that. I could barely stand without nearly fainting, couldn’t walk up a hill without being out of breath, I was exhausted and depressed, and there were a number of times during my initial treatments that I thought death was nearby.
After finally getting the right diagnosis and medication, I was able to begin to rebuild. It was all about the bicycle. It brought me my life back.
I owe it everything.

Do those new @teamjumbo_visma TT helmets look a bit like speed skiing lids from the 1980s? I know a couple of folks that might have first hand knowledge, what do you think @glenplake?

The last harvest from the gardens for the year. A fortunate harvest given the late planting and tumultuous spring weather.
These tomatoes are incredible! A bit sweet and fruit forward with the perfect texture. The Roma tomatoes aren’t as flavorful, but will make a good sauce or pico. This garden has kept me fed both body and soul during a long year on the bike and off. I’m already looking forward to next year! 🌈 @thefeedme @skratchlabs @uri_carlson @maxxisbike @ninerbikes @rideroval @sramroad @srammtb @stansnotubes @stagescycling @move_up_real_estate taken in Majestic View Park by @thefalseflat
