WELCOME TO SEPTEMBER,
Surely, it is a month to remember!

We declare September our Month of Harvest, standing on the promise of Proverbs 3:10:

“Then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.”

But beyond the harvest of resources, God is calling us into the harvest of His Kingdom.

“The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few.” (Matthew 9:37)

May this be a month of bountiful harvest of resources, growth, opportunities, and answered prayers and may we answer the call and step in as partners in the Kingdom harvest.

Have a blessed month.

GLORY TO GOD!

We rounded off with hearts full of gratitude, expressing thanksgiving to God in worship, praise, and joyful dancing.

We prayed, and so we praised. In worship and dance, we ended in great joy, celebrating all that the Lord has done.

THE FEAST was truly a FEAST.

See you in the next one.

Hands were laid for impartation of gifts, and we partook in communion, followed by another time of prayer.

We were reminded that a believer who will be sustained must be a praying believer. So we prayed again, understanding that taking the city is not by human effort or mere thought, but by first arising in prayers and then in action.

It is not by power, nor by might, but by the Spirit, says the Lord.

DAY 3 — OPEN HEAVENS

Day 3's tag was OPEN HEAVENS, and indeed, that was our experience.

From the opening worship to Stir Up, from worship to the Word, and through every encounter of the night, we could not remain the same. We have shifted!

In the final charge, we learnt about CITY TAKERS. We were reminded that the ultimate purpose of a believer's life is that God be glorified. We are not placed in a city to make a name for ourselves, but to take that city as conquerors for God and make His name known.

As carriers of His presence and ambassadors of His Kingdom, we have been sent to influence our generation, reveal Christ, and establish His purposes wherever He has planted us.

THE FEAST: AN INVITATION TO INTIMACY

We learnt that God desires intimacy with us even more than we desire it with Him. Yet, we must love the Lord wholeheartedly and remain childlike before Him.

We were reminded that intimacy begins with God's love toward man and deepens as we draw near to Him. As Scripture says, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you."

Intimacy is the reward of diligently seeking the Lord, for He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. With this understanding, we were encouraged afresh to seek Him without turning back, confident that as we seek, we will surely find Him.

Sounds of ascension.

In worship, we fixed our gaze on the King of Glory, beholding Him and being transformed into His likeness.
No longer are we without direction, we have encountered the master.
With hearts fully yielded, our souls are poured out in total surrender.

Still in prayer, in communion with the Most Holy God, we remained steadfast in prayer, pouring out our hearts before Him and drawing strength from His presence.

It was a moment of deep encounter and communion with Abba, drawing closer to Him and experiencing His presence afresh.

As we tarried, burdens were lifted, faith was stirred, and lives were refreshed

Through prayers in the Spirit, we were built up in faith and strengthened in our inner man.

During the Stir Up session, we engaged in intense, stretching prayers, pressing deeper into God and yielding ourselves to His workings. It was a moment of fervent intercession, spiritual awakening, and renewed hunger for more of Him.

DAY 3- OPEN HEAVENS

We started with intense worship to the only true God.

With our voices raised in unison and our hearts bowed in humility, we lifted a sound of worship unto the King of kings. It was a moment of total surrender, adoration, and reverence as we acknowledged God's greatness and majesty.

The atmosphere was charged with His presence as every heart aligned in Worship. What a beautiful way to begin the day, fixing our gaze on the One who remains faithful forever.

DAY 2
Our guest minister taught exhaustively on THE PROPHETIC PEOPLE.
One thing was certain, we received understanding.

To PROPHESY simply means to speak or sing by divine inspiration. To reveal the counsel of God.
The coming of the Holy Spirit upon you is to be a REVEALER OF GOD'S COUNSEL.

*The preaching/teaching of Jesus is the essence of prophecy (Revelation 19:10).

What a blessing to have a teacher after God's own heart.
We were blessed by the word of God and we are not the same anymore. We've received light and we're out to shine.
