Well, I haven’t personally shared this yet, but I’m incredibly proud of myself, and our amazing team for seeing one of our biggest projects to date through.

Ten years ago, we lost a super good friend, Franklin James Clary. I met Frank through food and wine while living in SF, and we quickly became buddies enjoying coffee, wine, cooking & bouncing around the city. He always talked about wanting to hang at the cafe with us and make some kind of coconut coffee. No recipe, just an idea we kept talking about. Then on July 4th, 2015, we were hanging with all our friends at Lulu’s parents home, swimming, drinking, eating, the usual. Frank brought it up, and I said yea man, let’s connect this week and make the drink happen. Sadly, we lost Frank that day in a tragic car accident, and life hasn’t been the same since!

I held onto our friendship hard. He was one of the realest, most casually kind humans I’ve ever known. I told my brother we’d see the drink through, which was our way of keeping him alive.

When we opened Mom ’n ’em in 2019, Franklin’s Coconut Cold Brew finally made its appearance on our menu. It became our #1 drink, a fan favorite, and still is today! Just before our big opening, it was our dream to can this cold brew, so we could share the deliciousness with the world and help keep Franks spirit alive.

In July of 2025, I watched it get canned for the very first time. Quite an emotional experience I must say. After all the time, money, stress, and emotional ups and downs… we pushed through. And it was worth it. I’ve never backed down from something I said I’d do, neither has my brother, and we are proud to hold the cans in our hand, and remember the amazing guy Frank was.

I’m proud to finally have Franklin’s Coconut Cold Brew for everyone to enjoy, and for people to carry a little piece of Franklin wherever life takes them.

I just wish he was here to sit with us at a table and enjoy it. You’d love it Frank!  We love you, buddy. May your bright spirit and wide smile live on forever ❤️ by @theferraribros

This one of a kind stay is located in a renovated 19th century church and offers space for up to 10 to stay! There are high ceilings, tons of room inside to run around, antique details throughout, comfy beds, a giant kitchen and a covered outdoor area. ⛪️

I highly recommend ordering a za (or a few) from @stfrancisapizza - these New Haven style pies are massive, tasty & perfect for sharing. Pair with your favorite snacks and you’re destined to have a perfect girls night. 🍕

It’s all in those little details!

When we started working years ago (really enjoying) coffee, we knew right away we always wanted to work with La Marzocco.

They are the icons we have always pointed our finger to as an industry standard. Almost like pointing your finger at Nike, saying if you want to walk in something great, you need these!

Making coffee coffee comes in so many different ways, techniques and styles. Everyone has a different approach, but the way we approach it is just one of many.

We love our 3-group Strada sitting on our bar at Mom ’n ‘em Coffee in Madisonville. If you’ve seen it, then you know what we mean when we say it is truly a work of art. If you haven’t, well we hope to have you in for a visit one day!
