At last I have got round to finishing off a pair of interlined curtains and I am so pleased with the result. I think they really soften the window area and add another layer of in bringing the room together.

Ha!!! Just love this audio!
So here is my dining room, I love to spend time in here! Just love the green outdoors and indoors.
I have recently redone the hanging branch with the Allium Christophii; they had dried in the garden and I recently picked them to make this structure above the dining table.
The third photo shows the Allium Christophii in full bloom we purchased from @sarahravensgarden this is their third year and they are stunning it looks like a firework!

Just after I filmed this this afternoon we had high winds and my runner beans collapsed 😥 gutted!! They are so heavy this year … note to self 😟 make a strong structure next year.

~S U M M E R C A P T U R E S~ I was lucky enough to win an instagram competition with @harrodhorticultural and @peterbealesroses back in June. I won two matte black large obelisks and two Jasmina double cupped old fashioned climbing roses I think by next summer they are going to look spectacular! Huge thanks to Harrod horticulture and Peter Beals Roses for my fabulous prize!!

The poor garden is looking very parched now after all the sun we have had. But it doesn’t seem to affect the roses!

Hi All!

~S U N D A Y B E F O R E C H R I S T M A S~ well it’s been a very dreary and blustery day here with sharp showers. I have been busy with house chores all day. Very boring but necessary. No walk for us today like the wellies outside the back door suggest!
Logs collected, brought in to light the fire. Ready now for a roast supper and an evening by the fire.

~ T H E M A G I C O F C H R I S T M A S ~ has come early to our home this year. (Because of the Christmas photoshoot we are organised)… I must say it is lovely to actually enjoy the decorations… not sure how long the fresh foliage will last indoors, I must say it smells wonderful.

I do love this room at Christmas, with its padded fabric walls and dark beamed ceiling.

~H A L L W A Y~ working my way around the house…

So much happening at this time of year we seem to have gone from walking speed to a full on gallop! I am finding it hard to keep up 😅🤣
Yesterday we went to watch our small grandchildren in the Nativity play… so adorable! ✨🎄🫶🏼 I took their great grandmother she loved it!
