To be recognised alongside wedding planners and creative studios from different corners of the world is a meaningful reminder of how far our little team has come - from Vietnam, carrying our own perspective, stories, and ways of celebrating love beyond borders.

More than an accolade, we see this as a celebration of the couples who have trusted us with their stories, the teams who have brought every idea to life, and every person behind the scenes who continues to put their heart into what we do. My & Lam’s celebrations were nothing but OLD GLAMOUR! From the ceremony with a walkway that reminds everyone of the iconic Hotel Du Cap Eden Roc to their reception dinner under 1,200 flying candles. Every little details was walking straight out of a classic Hollywood movie including our beautiful couple!

We couldn’t have been more grateful to walk alongside My & Lam throughout their extraordinary celebration. To @myphmv, @lamtrnn, and our brilliant creative partners, thank you for trusting us with such a remarkable journey.

And a heartfelt thank-you to @overthemoon for featuring this one-of-a-kind day. Today, we’re taking a look back at some of the moments we’ll treasure forever.

𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌𝐘 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐃 𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐃

In the middle of the chaotic 2020, Ms Dung, founder of Royal Swans, introduced us to one of her special brides and asked us to join her to create a dreamy wild flowers field for Trang & Dai. We were hooked immediately.

The wedding was initially planned for 2021 yet has to postpone for a year. Not only that, we were faced with many challenges including 2 times venue changing, catering hazards, post-pandemic travel cautions & many more. However, as people say, desperate time calls for desperate measures, together with all of our dearest trusted partners & especially our daring brave couple, Trang & Dai, the wedding was dreamier than our wildest imagination.

And not only that, we got 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 on 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐒, one of the most creditable & well-known wedding magazines in the world. And today, let us throwback to some of our special moments that we cherish for life. Once again, thank you Trang & Dai & all of our most talented partners for allowing us to join this incredible journey.

𝐔𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭

When we asked Van & Yen what their biggest dream was, they gave us the exact same answer: to experience the world together, to grow old side by side, and to watch their little son, Jayce, grow up.

Van & Yen have known each other for many years. Together, they have built a beautiful life, raised the sweetest son, Jayce, and celebrated a civil marriage ceremony in their own backyard. So when it came to their wedding, we wanted to celebrate everything they had built & shared.

For their vows ceremony, we designed the seating layout in the shape of the letter “J” is Jayce’s initial. With Van & Yen standing at the centre, it felt as though they were being embraced by their son, surrounded by the people they love most. For the florals, we brought back mostly white hydrangeas, one of the main flowers from their intimate backyard ceremony years ago. A small detail that connected where their story began to where they are today.

For dinner, the seating transformed into two intertwined letters, “V” and “Y” for Van & Yen, woven into one another. Soft, timeless, and elegant, just like the two of them.
We are incredibly honoured to have been the ones to craft this day for Van & Yen. Their story & their love for one another is something each of us will carry with us for a long time.

Ten years is a long time.

Long enough to have met hundreds of people, travelled to places we never expected to, worked through more timelines than we can count, and collected more stories than we could ever fit into one post.

Looking back, what we remember most isn’t the number of weddings.

It’s the people.

On Phu Quoc, where the light turns golden just before sunset, Zhican and Xuemin brought an intimate destination wedding to life.

Just 31 guests gathered at the InterContinental resort, with the ocean and changing sky becoming part of the design. Sculptural florals, unexpected dandelions, and an atmosphere that shifted from quiet anticipation to dinner-filled warmth as the sun slipped away🪽

For H&T’s wedding ceremony, we imagined a garden in bloom, with an unconventional aisle winding its way around it, a journey through the garden, leading our bride to her “lobster”.

On D-day, rain lingered for most of the day, softening the garden in a veil of mist. And then, just before the couple’s first look, it stopped.

Perhaps it was simply good timing. Or perhaps, when two people are meant to find each other, even the weather knows when to make way.

Because some people have a way of brightening each other’s days and, in this case, the entire garden.

For Linh & Richard, we wanted their tea ceremony to feel rooted in tradition, while still feeling unmistakably them - young, modern, and effortlessly fashionable.

Taking cues from the beautiful Indochine interior of the house, we reimagined traditional elements through a more contemporary lens.

At the entrance of the house stood two towering 9-metre red scrolls, each carrying the image of one half of the couple: a Horse representing Linh, and a Dragon representing Richard. We didn’t shy away from making a grand statement.

Inside, we incorporated the Cát Tường Kết motif - a symbol of harmonious union, peace & good fortune - into one statement piece: a custom-carved red decorative screen. Red, Linh’s favorite color, is also deeply symbolic in both Vietnamese and Chinese tea ceremony traditions.

Even the gift trays carried this spirit of blending cultures. Traditional Vietnamese offerings like betel leaves and areca nuts, bánh cốm (young rice cakes), and bánh phu thê (traditional husband-and-wife cakes) were paired with precious gifts brought all the way from China - from feng shui vases to Chinese tea wheels.

A ceremony that honors where Linh & Richard come from, while celebrating where they’re going - together.

A cozy, intimate gathering to celebrate T&K and the beginning of their new chapter.

The couple fell in love with SELA Chiang Mai the moment they saw it. The villa feels like a quiet sanctuary, where time forgets its usual rush and slows to the rhythm of the breeze.

For the reception dinner, K changed into her satin Vivienne Westwood Nova Venus, paired with a matching pearl chain, white lace gloves, a lace Juliet cap and white stockings, keeping the preppy spirit of the wedding day alive.

Dinner began with a champagne pop, before everyone settled into the warmth of an intimate evening together.

After a celebratory afternoon, the couple finally had time to slow down, greeting their guests over good food, good wine and plenty of unforgettable laughter.

The tablescape stayed true to the preppy spirit, with paper details inspired by library borrow cards and matching study lamps.

Rather than keeping the florals on the table, we wove them throughout the space, creating the feeling of a garden where one might picnic, linger, or settle beneath a tree with a good book.
