So, what actually is a Flâneuse? We thought it was about time we reintroduced what a Flâneuse is!

A Flâneuse is a woman who moves through the city with curiosity, not urgency. She notices. She wanders. She lives deliberately 💌

She finds beauty in city streets, books, galleries, conversations, cafés, and quiet moments between plans. She chooses culture over content, taste over trends, and depth over noise.

Being a Flâneuse isn’t about aesthetics - it’s about how you experience city life as a modern woman. We're getting back to our roots and to the core of why we started 'The Flâneuse', curating a world of culture, fashion, lifestyle and city living content for the modern Flaneuse. We went to a Parisian jewellery showroom (where all the retail buyers head) and collated some of our favourite independent jewellery designers ⭐️ including one of Manchester’s own @julychildjewellery of course.

Come with us to the @sezane Paris pop-up store! We had the chance to browse, shop and take in all its beauty. The pop-up store showcases a curated selection from their A/W season collection, vintage, a knitwear library, a cafe and bookstore all under one roof. The showroom weaves together history, design and fashion, and is paired it with the photographs of James Barnor.

If you can’t tell, we had a dreamy afternoon 🛍️ so if you are in Paris soon gals, add this stop to your list 💌

The Supper Club you need to know about @openfirediningclub @mcrfinest @therealtartuffe 🍽️ If you love food, the outdoors, and meeting new people this one is for you. Open Fire Dining Club is a flame-led supper club bringing together some of the most exciting kitchens to the outdoors of the beautiful Torr Vale Mill.

We managed to get to their August supper club in collaboration with Pho Cue and it was a gorgeous evening of amazing food, drink and company. This supper club series runs from April - September, making this coming weekend their season finale, with only a few tickets left for grabs. Although don’t worry if you didn’t manage to get to one this season, just keep an eye out for their return next year.

The book club you all need to know about gals📚 @__allaboutbooks is a monthly book club hosted by @curlycarlymcr in Stockport’s The Red Bull.

Whether you’re an avid reader or currently in a reading slump, this book club is perfect for both (though we think you’ll soon be out of your slump once you attend) Carly makes the whole evening inclusive for all, she asks you questions you might not have thought about, the who, what and why of the book, she encourages opinions and makes you think a little harder about what you’ve just read. She has created such a warm, engaging and welcoming event and can’t recommend it enough. It’s a lovely, wholesome way to spend an evening with the girls or even as a solo outing.
