Hello everyone.

If you did not already know, on October 15th at 1:01 PM. A 16 year old boy had entered an elementary school and killed 3 children ages 5,8, and 11 including 1 adult teacher. This is the 36th school shooting across the US this year.

I am beyond furious. Those children who have are not even above the age of 12 now have to suffer with the trauma of this horrific event. They have to live the rest of their lives remembering what happened on that day. A mother and father have lost their children, never to see their child’s face again without looking in horror of what this man has done to them.

I ask, what are we doing??? How as a society have we gone to this point? 36 school shootings in just this year and yet nothing is being done about it. No change has come. As a student, I am living in a world of fear. Of terror that my school will be the next to have this happen. I am terrified. I want to feel safe and yet I do not because of no change. As America. We should be doing better. We must protect our youth. They are the future!

WE. SHOULD. BE. DOING. BETTER. BUT. WE’RE. NOT. by @theflareproject2

Hello everyone!

Yesterday 10/1/26 GCHS Y club did a gathering place property cleanup from 4:30-5:30.

This shows the importance of doing volunteer work! The property was previously overgrown with ivy and other invasive species. Now, all those problems are gone thanks to one simple hour of service. Thank you to the volunteers that came to the wonderful event! Unfortunately I could not make it due to personal reasons.

I love you all 💚 by @theflareproject2

Hello everyone!

Today was an important day for not only my home county but for the entirety of Kentucky. This day, 09/17/26 marked the day of the heavily important data center meeting to discuss the ordinance of building a data center in my home town.

Friend’s, these meetings are important to attend. Even if you believe data centers will not affect you, in the future there will be thousands. Draining our water supply, slugging our water, and polluting our earth and communities. It is important to speak up against these centers, for the better of the people of the world and man kind itself.

I will personally say, it was an honor to be able to speak at this meeting. As well as hearing the many people of the community of Scott county express their feelings and opinions about this matter. It was an honor to participate in such an important community meeting. I strongly suggest you to do the same and speak out for what’s right.

United we stand. Divided we fall.

I love you all! 💚 by @theflareproject2

Hello everyone.

September 11th 2026 marks the 25th year since the 9/11 terrorist attack. Today is a day of remembrance, a day where we remember those who were lost and the heroes that valiantly sacrificed themselves to save those in danger. On that day, 2,996 lives were taken. Sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, policemen, fireman, all gone in a span of 2 hours.

Friend’s, as a community this is the day we must come together and remember those who were lost. We must come together to remember the heroes who helped save others when they needed it most, knowing that they would not make it out alive.

It is a hard time for all of us and I pray for the families of the lives lost on that day. I ask all of you to please do the same and take a moment of silence today to think about those people.

I love you all and if you need to talk I am always here. May we never forget what happened on that day or the people who died. 💚

May we never forget. by @theflareproject2

Hello everyone! So sorry for the late posts school has just started up and I have been very busy!

Today I wanted to talk about poverty in Kentucky. Approximately 15.6% of Kentuckians are impoverished. That is over 600,000 people in one state alone. In the entirety of the United States, 10.6% of the population is impoverished. Which is 35.9 million Americans. If I may go even further, there are approximately 800 million people suffering from poverty in the entirety of the world. That is millions of mothers, fathers, children, and citizens suffering each year not being able to afford food, water, electricity, and the essentials of human survival.

If anyone has read the book The Glass Castle, you would know about the town in West Virginia. Welch has one of the highest poverty rates in the United States having over a 32% poverty rate. While the creation of food stamps benefited the people of Welch, the government still did not help the people of Welch. Leading them to drive a mile to gather clean water from a nearby mountain and visiting their local shelters over 3 times a day.

This is and always will be a major problem. Poverty is not only one of the easiest things to fall into. It is also the hardest to get out of. Poverty has caused millions of families to suffer, Millions of children to starve and millions of citizens to go un cared for.

As a society and as the flare projects main goal, we must spread awareness of poverty rates in not only the state of Kentucky, but the entire world. Let’s help spread awareness so we can help the fight of lowering poverty!! by @theflareproject2

Hello everyone!

As I looked more into the history of Kentucky. I look closely into our motto. “United we stand divided we fall”. To me this saying stretches farther beyond politics or government structures. This quote reassembles people as a community. For if the people of a community are divided then there is no functioning community and without that community there is no helping the people in the community less fortunate. Take shelters for example, they are built on community support. They rely on volunteers, donations, and funding to keep saving people. Without that help, there would be no shelter. No food, water, or clothes to give to the people in need. Without those shelters the people less fortunate would be doomed.

Friend’s, it is important that we remember to stay united. Not only for the purpose of government, but the purpose of helping others in our community. By ensuring that everyone gets help they deserve because we as a community
as a family. Can come together and do amazing things together to benefit everyone. The more we stay divided the less people can get the help they need and deserve.

I have made more goals for you to complete! Not only do these goals help spread awareness about volunteering and donations. They keep you connected with your very own community! You would be surprised how much you can learn!

And always remember “UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL”. by @theflareproject2

Hello everyone!

If you did not already know I have been on a week long trip called Y Corp service to the north. Y Corp is a string in the KYYMCA that lets you complete service work and fundraise for a week long trip. I was lucky enough to go to the service trip to the north with a group of 26 counting myself. Let me tell you
it was the most eye opening experience of my life.

Together me and students from across the state traveled all the way to Vermont and back making service stops along the way. These service stops were not only an amazing experience helping out national parks remove invasive species or talking and doing activities with elderly who truly had no one else. It was also a perspective change for me. One of our stops was Kensington Philadelphia. One of the most drug ridden cities. First hand I saw the effect of addiction and people less fortunate than myself. It truly showed me how lucky I am to have everything I have and have been given the opportunity’s to do good in this world.

I strongly encourage everyone to research Y corp in your state. It shows that there still is hope in this world. That there are still people who are selfless enough to go on a one week trip, sleep on gym floors, eat bin meals, and help the communities around america with no complaints. It shows that we can make a huge difference if we just try. Many things I thought were impossible before this trip I have achieved at the end.

All it takes is a community
a family to come together and take action on the problems of our society. Which is why the awareness of Y corp and the awareness of community outreach and donations is so extremely important to me. Because another thing I’ve learned on this trip is a group of people who want to do good will do 3x as much good as they thought they would in under a week.

I love you all! More posts coming soon. 💚 by @theflareproject2

Hello everyone!

Before I get into what I am saying today. This is not a post about my achievements or a post about bragging. This is simply a post to spread awareness to all.

The first act of the flare project is spreading awareness to volunteering and donations to local community shelters. It is a privilege to wake up in a bed surrounded by warm blankets. It is a privilege to have a roof over your head and walls surrounding you keeping you safe during the heat. But there are thousands of people in Kentucky who are not given that privilege. Thousands of people who have to sit in the hot sun causing a risk of a heat stroke, stomachs growling, and quenched of thirst. Thousands of people who truly have no where to go except a local shelter to have a warm meal, who have to rely on them to keep them safe. To those shelters god bless you and everything you have done to protect and save so many lives.

Friend’s may I ask
is it fair that we have nice houses and AC
yet we do nothing to help the people who don’t? I truly believe that we as not just a community but as a society need help those less fortunate stay protected from starvation, thirst, and the grueling heatwave that Kentucky has been hit by.

Friend’s for the past month me and a fellow member every morning from 8-12 have been volunteering at our local amen house. Processing donations, putting them on shelf’s, and even painting a wall. We have put in over 80 hours of service to the organization and just today I have donated water and canned goods to my local shelter. I bet that sounds really easy right? You are thinking “anyone can do that!” And you are right
. Anyone can do that. It truly is easy to volunteer or to make a donation because that time spent will help save hundreds of lives all around Kentucky.

My goal for members or people who see this: Make a simple donation. It does not have to be much. A bag of cans, a pack of water, or even something you don’t use anymore. Donate it to your local shelter. Those people will definitely use everything you give them and they would be grateful for it. Take a picture of your donation and @ the flare project.

Thank you everyone! I love you all 💚 by @theflareproject2

Hello everyone! I have returned! Expect this time not for a campaign. But for something far bigger.

As kuna ended and I was faced with defeat. I pondered and thought deeply about my next move. I thought to myself “why should I stop doing good acts just because my campaign is over?” And so I have come up with something that will hopefully strive for generations.

I welcome you all to the flare project.

The flare project is similar to Y club. Expect very different. The flare projects main focus is many different focuses! When the project begins we will start with a serious topic that affects our communities daily. Then, after 2 months of doing community talks, service projects, and club talks we will switch to another important topic!

For example if we start with food and malnutrition. We will strive to better that issue. Then after 2 months we focus on another topic.

This is so no topic/ issue is unheard or unseen! I feel every topic and issue needs to be addressed or helped in some way. And the flare project I believe will surely help that.

Anyone can join! Feel free to join the group me for further details in the future.

Our first topic when the project really kicks into high gear is suicide prevention and mental health awareness. The main reason I chose this topic is because it is an extreme issue over Kentucky and the U.S. With suicide rates only increasing we as a community and hopefully as a project organization must help raise awareness of mental health options as-well as making sure that people are seen and heard.

See you all when the project kicks off!! by @theflareproject2

Hello everyone!

This is going to be my last and final post on this account (maybe anyway) so I thought I would put some silly pictures in there to send me off!

Unfortunately, I will not be apart of the PO team next year. But I am super proud of any candidate that did because they truly deserved it more than I did. I’m super proud of every candidate everyone did so amazing.

It was an honor to be a candidate. It was an honor to speak in front of everyone and share my beliefs. I hope we meet again soon.

Goodbye everyone, start your flare. 💚 by @theflareproject2
