we basically figured that cars choose to rant as well instead of going to therapy. Totally natural. Made a bunch of fun little films for @tata.evofficial and this one was the quickest shoot (for obv reasons) and our favourite.

Finally bringing to you, Dashboard Confessions. 🪩

i remember watching SXSW and Clermont-Ferrand shorts on the internet back in college and thinking this was the place to be! Fast forward to a few years later I met Pranav, and we worked on a few ads and a music video , but when he shared the script of @wewerehere_ , i knew we were finally collaborating on THE project. The kind of film only he could make. The kind of film I liked to consume.

2016 trend chhodo, the 2018 ashwin who spent more time watching shorts than lectures would’ve been super stoked to know he’s part of a film that’s playing at the very same festivals.

‘We Were Here’ will have it’s World Premiere at the @lecourtclermont , followed by it’s North American Premiere at @sxsw 🤖

a special one for the crew 💌

things i saw recently that made me pause and look:

1. Preserved kodachrome slides of anonymous families at the Fotografiska museum
2. A photograph by Anton Corbijn that almost looks like a sketch
3. Printed false facades on every site undergoing construction in Rome depicting what’s underneath
4. Victoria Hanna’s music video - “Aleph-bet”
5. The inclined floors and architecture at the Jewish museum
6. Light bouncing off of the cross at St. Peter’s Basilica
7. A graffiti workshop poster, done by graffiti (also the fact that you only see oldschool posters everywhere in Berlin, instead of digital ads)
8. Bars in Prague that don’t play music, and it’s just the sound of chatter
9. The ear shaped intercom in Milan
10. These transverse road markings
11. A woman reading while sitting in water
12. Moor heads
13. ‘The letter’ by Adolphe-Félix Cals
14. This chapter from Kaveh Akbar’s ‘Martyr’ by @theflipsideboy
