Disney World doesn’t have to feel like a military operation. 😂🏰 We’re a UK family of 5, and after several trips to Walt Disney World, these are 5 things that make our holidays SO much less stressful. ✨ 1. Stop trying to do EVERYTHING. You won’t. And that’s okay! Pick your must-dos and let everything else be a bonus. ✨ 2. Plan breaks BEFORE you need them. Florida heat + tired children = a recipe for disaster. We love heading back to the resort for a swim and some downtime. ✨ 3. Don’t underestimate the magic outside the rides. Some of our favourite memories are wandering around, meeting characters and simply soaking up the atmosphere. ✨ 4. Have a rough plan, not a minute-by-minute itinerary. Know which park you’re visiting and your priorities, but leave room for spontaneous moments. ✨ 5. Remember it’s a HOLIDAY! You don’t need to be at rope drop every morning or stay until the fireworks every night to get your money’s worth. We’ve learnt that slowing down doesn’t mean missing out on the magic. Sometimes it’s when you find the best bits. ❤️ What’s the one thing about planning Disney World that stresses you out the most? 🇬🇧 Follow @thefloridakeays for honest Disney tips, family experiences and ways to make your Florida holiday a little easier (and cheaper!). #DisneyWorldTips #DisneyWorldUK #DisneyWithKids #FloridaHoliday #DisneyPlanning by @thefloridakeays
Believe it or not Bella lost not one but two teeth last trip 🙊 As she was wobbling them away on the bus a lovely lady told us to head to guest services if it fell out because obviously tinker bell is a good friend of the tooth fairy and there might be a little treat! In magic kingdom we got a cute tooth holder and again when she lost one in typhoon lagoon. They were both different holders, I won’t share the surprise to what they are like but so cute! In magic kingdom we got a little treat from Mickey too - he got us all some ice creams! As always these kind of treats are at the cast member discretion and not guaranteed but it definitely adds to the magic when it happens ✨ Did you know this?! I don’t think it’s that well known as the cast member at MK said he’d been carrying them around for months and it was the first he had given out 😂 #wdw #disneyworldmagic #magicmemories #disneymagic #disneytouches by @thefloridakeays
I know I don’t neeeeed a new mug but.. which new mug should I get?! 1,2 or 3?!?! Obsessed @sainsburys #christmasmug #mugobsessed #winterwarmer #cutemug #family by @thefloridakeays
2 adults, 3 kids… suddenly half the hotels disappear and the price doubles! 🫠 BUT if you’re planning Walt Disney World as a family of five, here’s a little money-saving tip you might not know! 👇 🏨 Disney’s Value Resorts aren’t always the cheapest option! Many standard Value Resort rooms only sleep four, meaning a family of five may need a family suite or two rooms. ✨ But some Moderate Resorts have rooms that sleep FIVE! 🌴 Caribbean Beach Resort – Our personal favourite! Selected rooms have a child-size fifth sleeper, plus you’ve got the Skyliner, brilliant pools and that gorgeous tropical atmosphere. ⚜️ Port Orleans Riverside – Another lovely option, with selected rooms accommodating five thanks to an extra child-size pull-down bed. 🎶 All-Star Music – Family suites sleep up to six, with a kitchenette and two bathrooms. 🎨 Art of Animation – The themed family suites sleep up to six, with plenty of space and Skyliner access! 💰 THE MONEY-SAVING TIP? Don’t automatically filter by Value Resorts thinking they’ll be cheapest! A single room at a Moderate Resort can sometimes work out cheaper than a family suite at a Value Resort, especially when Disney offers discounts or UK holiday packages. Of course, prices depend on your dates, children’s ages and room availability, so ALWAYS compare! And remember, not every room at these resorts sleeps five, so check the exact room category before booking. ❤️ Fellow families of five… please tell me we’re not alone in the holiday booking struggle?! Save this for your next Disney holiday and follow @thefloridakeays for honest family travel tips and ways to make the magic go further! ✨ #DisneyWorldTips #DisneyOnABudget #DisneyFamilyOfFive #DisneyResorts #CaribbeanBeachResort by @thefloridakeays
🚡 An HOUR stuck on the Disney Skyliner… and it’s STILL our favourite way to travel around Walt Disney World! 😂 Hear me out… We absolutely LOVE the Skyliner! The views, the breeze, avoiding the buses and being whisked straight to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. It’s one of the reasons we love staying at Caribbean Beach Resort! 🌴 But on our last trip, we ended up stuck in the air for almost an hour! 😳 And this is where Disney really impressed us… As soon as we got off, the Cast Members couldn’t apologise enough. We were offered: 💧 As many bottles of ice-cold water as we wanted 🎢 Complimentary Lightning Lane access (the old FastPass!) 💰 Vouchers to spend in the parks And do you know what? We could have easily spent that hour standing in a ride queue anyway! Instead, we got to skip some queues and enjoy a few extra treats. Was being stuck ideal? Absolutely not! But things go wrong, even at Disney, and for us it’s how they’re handled that makes the difference. ❤️ Would this put YOU off riding the Skyliner, or would you be straight back on like us?! 😂👇 ✨ Follow @thefloridakeays for honest Disney experiences, family travel tips and where to save (and splurge!) on your next Florida adventure! #DisneySkyliner #WaltDisneyWorld #DisneyWorldTips #CaribbeanBeachResort #DisneyWithKids by @thefloridakeays
October ✨ The bum bag I said I’d only wear in the parks… 🙄 Halloween nails Disney ring My pathetically small ear collection 🥹 Favourite vinted purchase this month 🙊 Second favourite vinted purchase - 2 pairs of the softest next PJs for less than £7! Thank you thank you 🤩 Finding buzz in the new forest on holiday 👻🎃 And look who else we found! 🐾🐾 Caravan fun - anyone know the Disney card game we are playing?! Okay some more vinted bargains for the boy who won’t wear it unless Mickey Mouse is on it 🙄🥹🙊 by @thefloridakeays
🎬 HOT TAKE: Hollywood Studios isn’t just about the rides! In fact, some of our favourite moments happened when we weren’t queuing for anything at all! ✨ ⭐ Star Tours is SO underrated! The queues are often shorter than for the headline attractions. We walked straight on multiple times during our last visit! The theming throughout the queue is brilliant too. 🌴 Take time to wander! Hollywood Studios is one of our favourite parks for soaking up the atmosphere. The theming, music and little details are incredible. 🌙 Stay after dark! The park looks absolutely beautiful lit up, and Fantasmic! can be a great opportunity to enjoy some rides with shorter queues while other guests watch the show. 🐭 Don’t skip Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! Such a brilliant interactive show for younger visitors. Our two-year-old was absolutely captivated! 🚡 The Skyliner is part of the magic! Staying at Caribbean Beach meant we could hop on the Skyliner and make the most of Early Theme Park Entry. Such an easy way to start the day! ❤️ Our biggest tip? SLOW DOWN. You don’t have to do every ride to have an amazing Disney day. Sometimes the best memories are made just wandering around, taking it all in. 💬 What’s your Hollywood Studios hot take? Is it a must-do park or one you’d happily skip? ✨ Follow @thefloridakeays for honest Disney tips, real family experiences and ways to make your magic go further! #HollywoodStudios #DisneyWorldTips #DisneyWithKids #DisneyOnABudget #WaltDisneyWorld by @thefloridakeays

My Disney holiday savings start LONG before we get on the plane! ✈️💸 I’m a huge Vinted fan for Disney outfits, kids’ clothes and holiday essentials, but these are my 4 golden rules for making my money go further. ❤️ Favourite first, buy later. 🔎 Always compare similar listings. 📦 Check for bundles and combined postage. 💰 And most importantly… a bargain isn’t a bargain if you didn’t need it! Don’t forget to check the final price with postage and buyer protection added too! Because all those little £3, £5 and £10 impulse purchases add up… What’s your BEST ever Vinted bargain? Don’t get me wrong - by the castle is beautiful BUT it’s very busy and sometimes it’s nice to take advantage of the shorter ride queues while they are on! Top 5 alternative viewing fireworks tips for magic kingdom ✨ 1. Tianas bayou adventure - If you time it right you can actually see them from the log flume drop! It’s beautiful round this area at night and yes my video is filmed through a tree 🫣 (I was waiting to spot my family on tiana’s)but there are much clearer spots too. 2. Having a wonder through the park - this one sounds a bit simple but honestly, the walkways are quieter and it somehow feels calmer than the rest of the day. 3. Getting on those rides that have had long Queues all day - the wait times tend to drop around this time of day while people gather around magic kingdom. 4. Outside under the sea ride - it’s so quiet round there and while you won’t see tink doing her thing, it’s a really unique perspective! What’s your fave spot?! Share in the comments for us to try next visit! #wdw #orlandotrip #disneyworld #disneyaddict #disneyuk by @thefloridakeays
