WEDDING | Surrounded by forest and sweeping mountain views, @house.boheme in Rutherfordton offered Hana and Gavin exactly the sense of intimacy they had imagined for their wedding. #magnoliarougevendor @athomas_photography documented the celebration with its romantic spring florals, moodier autumnal palette and deeply personal details, while @katiebrookseventco brought the vision together and @thefloweryardnc transformed the secluded setting with an abundance of flowers.

The flower stand will be closed today as we’ve had a very flower filled week here and don’t have many blooms left! Planning to open tomorrow (Saturday). Thanks friends! 🌸 by @thefloweryardnc

Kicked off the fall wedding season with flowering for a wonderful couple- Analisse + Alek. Planning for this with Analisse was such a joy as she shared her vision for the day and we worked together to bring it to life. Buttery yellow, white, and hints of chocolate was the perfect palette to transition from summer to fall.

Special thanks to my sweet friend Bethany @foragejoyflorals for being my flower partner! 💛💛💛

It has been such a beautiful summer and so thankful for the support of our sweet community! We are ready for a little summer break though so we will be closed for the remainder of the week. No flower stand this weekend. Will be back Monday 7/27 ready to share more local flowers! ☀️🌻 taken in The Flower Yard NC by @thefloweryardnc

Whimsical and enchanted were my goals when designing for this room. Polly Alice Korner loved using this room for all her plants with its lovely natural light. I wanted to make it feel like her plants were starting to take over and grow out of the room itself. I could imagine her having clippings of different plants in little bottles to root which is where the bud vase tower came in.

It was an honor to participate in the flower show again this year! It brings so much joy to be surrounded by so much creativity and beauty.

Thank you Brittany and team for a fabulous event! taken in The Flower Yard NC by @thefloweryardnc

Install day for the @kornersfolly Flower Show! It was a busy day of prepping everything for transport, loading, unloading, finalizing designs, and of course cleaning up. Seeing all the other designers in action was such a highlight! So much creativity and beauty across 22 rooms. Hope you’re able to check it out this weekend! by @thefloweryardnc

And finally it’s design day! I decided I wanted to incorporate some live plants so I picked up a few from Meyers this morning and then worked on making sure those had a water source that won’t leak.

Design wise, the goal is to get everything 80% done today and then on site tomorrow, I’ll add the more delicate blooms, moss, and adjust so each design fits the space well. So excited about how this is coming together!

Come see the beauties come to life at the flower show Saturday and Sunday at @kornersfolly 💜💛 taken in The Flower Yard NC by @thefloweryardnc

More prepping for @kornersfolly today!

Harvested our flowers, picked up more local beauties from @findstemz , prepped mechanics, and processed today’s flowers. Tomorrow it’ll be time to start designing! taken in The Flower Yard NC by @thefloweryardnc
