Today, we remember Tamara O’Brien. ❤️

Tamara was an extraordinary athlete and the Forward Foundation's first recipient. A World Games silver medallist and Team Canada flag bearer, she represented her country with incredible courage and determination.

After being diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma at just 22, Tamara continued to pursue her passion and compete on the world stage, inspiring everyone around her with her strength and resilience.

Her story is woven into the foundation of Forward Foundation and reminds us why creating opportunities for young athletes matters. Though she is deeply missed, her legacy lives on in every athlete who dares to dream and believe in what’s possible.
