How many of these did you already know? 🧺👇

Washing machines come with so many settings, but most of us end up using the same one every single time. The truth is, choosing the right setting can help your clothes last longer, clean better, and even reduce drying time 🤭

Follow for more cleaning tips and tricks 🤎

I find 40 to be my sweet spot! Some detergents work best in 40 degrees as it’s just above that colder temperature!

Don’t forget to actually turn that pre wash on and remember you add stain remover powders, booster or just a smaller dose of your regular detergent into the label (|) section.

Using those rinses & extra spin cycles just help remove residue and can reduce your drying time with that extra wring of the clothes.

Save this for your next laundry day, and send it to someone who’s been using the same setting for every wash. 😉 by @thefoxesden__

If you are someone that ‘organised’ your pantry by looking at someone else’s on Instagram… you might need to hear this.

Decanting products in a pantry only works, if you upkeep the system and it actually works for you… if you are someone that won’t decant, then you need to find different systems for your pantry. Be realistic, there’s no point because I can tell you right now, you’ll end up with more waste and a whole heap of food packages jammed in front of your containers…

If this is you, let me know and I can talk more about this 🤝✨

You don’t need to make your home look like Instagram. You need to make it work for you. What looks beautiful on Instagram, doesn’t always work for everyone. Organisation isn’t pretty tubs, boxes and labels, it’s SYSTEMS that work for you and your family.

#organisation #organisedlife #organisationhacks #instagramvsreality #organisationsystems

I think having less stuff can make everyday life feel lighter. I think a home that’s organised in a way that actually makes sense for your family can save you time, money and stress.

But I don’t think that means buying 47 matching containers, decanting everything or making your house look like nobody actually lives there.

The goal isn’t a perfect home.

It’s knowing where things belong.
Being able to find what you need.
Not constantly moving piles from one room to another.
Having systems that are easy enough to actually maintain.

Your home should support your life, not become another thing you have to keep up with.

Declutter the stuff that’s weighing you down.
Create systems that make your life easier.
And then let your house be lived in. 🤎

It’s not about perfection, not here anyway. 🤎

I used to use vinegar too 👀

And if that’s what you use to clean your washing machine, that’s totally fine! But since switching to citric acid, I genuinely noticed such a difference 😮‍💨✨

It’s also SO cheap, I get a 2kg tub for around $16 on Amazon (I’ve added it to my storefront if you want to find the exact one). If much better value than the emergency Woolies tub 🫣

Save this for your next washing machine clean 🧼

And please don’t forget to leave your washing machine door open after every wash so it can dry out properly!

* Always check your washing machine manufacturer’s instructions before using any cleaning product *

A few things I’ve learnt about keeping a house clean with a baby 🤎

Save this for the days you need the reminder.

Clean it once, live in it, reset it. Repeat.

Unless of course you feel like resetting every 10 minutes, helps you keep sane!

A little reset at home, then out to the park 🤎

One thing I’ve learnt since becoming a mum is that sometimes just getting out the door is half the battle 😂

Having the MINU V3 ready to go in the car has made those quick park trips so much easier, the quick fold is such a game changer 👏🏻

A quick tidy, fresh air and a happy baby… pretty much all we need 🥰

What I actually wear as a SAHM 🤎

Trying to figure out your style again postpartum is HARD. 🫣

Your body has changed, your routine has changed, and suddenly the things you used to reach for just don’t feel like “you” anymore.

I’m slowly figuring out what I actually like wearing now & things that are comfortable enough for mum life, practical enough to spend the day at home, but still make me feel like myself.

So this is what I’m actually wearing lately 👇🏼

Comfy, practical and still trying to feel cute 😂

Anyone else still figuring out their postpartum style?
