Striving for Excellence in Local Communities

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

One of our biggest missions with the Franklin Foundations is to improve the mental health of minority children. A lot of children are embarrassed and often sometimes ashamed to talk with someone about their mental health.

At each event we have, we make sure to give the children an outlet to release some of their anxieties and mental struggles. We’ve come to realize that most mental problems can be solved with just being ACTIVE.

Whenever we plan an event, we make sure to include a physical activity of some sort and a safe space for the children to express themselves.

Here’s a brief synopsis of what our foundation has been doing for the last few years. Since 2019, our mission has been to provide accessible resources to undeserved communities. We’ve had much success, and we plan on going even bigger for this year, 2022.

Those in need can register for mental health services and emergency funds using the link in bio. As of right now, we have only given out $2,500 of the $5,000 McAuliffe International funds that will help students of color have access to diverse curriculums. Donations made will also help students go on HBCU tours, access scholarships, and meet leaders who look just like them. To donate to the cause, please use link in bio.

All donations will be greatly appreciated. #linkinbio taken in Denver, Colorado by @thefranklinfoundations

We had so much fun teaching yoga and a mental health lesson with the Journey through Our Heritage Club through MSU’s department of Chicana/o Studies at La Alma Recreation Center 🤸‍♀️

We understand the importance of keeping the children mentally and physically healthy during the summer. The children had a great time and are looking forward to our next visit.

It is our purpose and mission to provide children in our community with a mental and physical outlet for anything they may be dealing with outside of school. We look forward to continuing to live in our purpose and inspiring as many children as we can. taken in Denver, Colorado by @thefranklinfoundations

This holiday, we partnered with Colorado Charter High School to provide kits for every family experiencing homelessness at our local shelter. Student’s held a book drive & provided cookies and hot chocolate for families. While we collected toys for children in need. We’re beyond grateful for everyone who worked to make this drive possible! We hope everyone has a Happy Holiday! taken in Denver, Colorado by @thefranklinfoundations
