Come get your PUMPKINS! 🎃 this event features local vendors, live music, cold beer from Wabasha, a costume contest hosted by Back Pocket, food trucks, and other fun activities for the occasion! Look out for some future posts about all of the fun activities we will be offering between all 3 businesses! It was so fun to be in community with everyone last year, as an official business on this corner! Hi! We are still here at @backpocket_mn on the West Side of Saint Paul! Our mutual aid pantry is open during Back Pocket business hours. We’ve been in operation since February 2026, during the height of Operation Metro Surge. ICE still exists and is abducting people of all ages! ICE is still here terrorizing our streets! It might not be 3,000+ agents right now, but we all still have the fight in us if those masked goons troops return full force! We would like to remind everyone that @mayorkaohlyher and the Saint Paul City Council have not changed their strategies in attempt to eradicate homelessness. Instead of seeing our neighbors as individuals in need of help and equity, and instead of listening to local experts and community leaders in all applicable fields regarding homelessness, they see a mass problem that can only be solved with violent sweeps that perpetuate the issue even further! The housing crisis is a government and real estate problem. And the two of them are in bed together! 👀 Please consider donating to our Venmo @back-pocket-vintage or some cash in person! We also take nonperishable food and snacks, and of course, secondhand clothing! The toiletries are always a crowd favorite. 🙏🏼 we so appreciate our community! Did you know about @stpdiscountgrocery near 280/University? This is an amazing place to buy affordable groceries for deep discounts and their business is doing good work in the community supporting little food pantries like ours! They are running a food and supplies drive for us through this Saturday, August 29th where people can purchase items for the Free Bodega to leave at discount grocery for us to pick up! We also stopped at @rising.waters.mutual.aid to pick up some overstock at their hub for ours, and we scheduled a Narcan training in October at our shop with them! More details coming soon on that… We are always looking for community partnerships to keep our little pantry going!
