GOVERNOR RECORD, DEBATE CLAIMS AND VOTER REACTION

Know the record, the claims and the limits. This distinguishes statements from policy, rhetoric from record, and comments from results. One debate does not decide an election.

BIGGER PROMISES. WHO PAYS THE PRICE?

The Democratic Party and Democratic Socialists of America are different organizations. Their published proposals deserve separate scrutiny.

Swipe through the differences on taxes and business ownership, healthcare and housing, immigration and policing, and the structure of government.

Ask for the full cost. Ask what replaces the existing system. Ask what limits remain on government power.

These are documented proposals and clearly identified accountability questions, not guaranteed future outcomes. Judge each candidate by the specific demands they support.

FAMILY POLICY, MEDICAL CONSENT AND SCHOOL TRANSPARENCY

Know the policy, the consent rules and the limits of the evidence. This post distinguishes campaign proposals from law, coverage from consent, and school privacy from parental record rights. Secrecy alone does not prove grooming; identity or supportive discussion alone is not evidence of abuse.

WHAT HAPPENED TO NEW YORK ENERGY COSTS?

Electricity, gas and heating oil affect the household budget. Compare the labeled periods, measured average bills and fixed-usage models. Statewide prices do not equal every utility bill, and changes during an administration do not alone establish cause.

PUBLIC SAFETY, VICTIMS AND RELEASE RULES

Remember the victims. Examine the records. This post separates convictions from allegations and explains arrest, bail and immigration detainers. Selected cases are not a statewide crime-rate estimate, and charge totals are not victim totals.

HEALTHCARE ELIGIBILITY, COSTS AND FRAUD

Who qualifies for healthcare programs? Which costs are national rather than New York totals? What have prosecutors and state auditors documented? Eligibility, spending and fraud are different claims; this post keeps them separate.

MIGRANT RESPONSE AND SHELTER COSTS

What has New York spent on the migrant response, and what is projected next? State and city figures, actual spending, contracts and forecasts use different measures. Provider spending is not the same as cash paid to an individual.

TAXES, BORROWING AND THE BUDGET

The campaign tax claim, the borrowing record and future budget gaps deserve separate scrutiny. Arithmetic alone does not verify tax accounting. A balanced current budget does not eliminate projected future gaps.
