@jopux.cos took this amazing picture of me from Kawaiicon 12 with my Jason Voorhees 😎 I never thought I would cosplay this character, but anything for @kawaiicon_no ❤️This weekend has been a blast! As per the usual, I've had very little time on the floor of kawaiicon. Almost all my time is backstage or on stage with only a breath of fresh air sprinkled in now and then.Sometimes I envy the con-goers the experience of just being at kawaii, but then I remember all the trust, support and opportunities I get from the crew, stage team, contestants of all the contests and so many more! I am beyond proud and grateful for all that I get to do for this community and all the whacky stuff I get dragged into. To everyone letting me know they were entertained by me on stage, to all the fantastic crew I get to work with, to @elvespeilet with their talented crew, to the stage crew working their ass off every year to make something truly... Da er @kawaiicon_no over for i år! Som alltid har opplevelsen vært helt magisk! ✨ Det er en helt vill mengde arbeid som ligger bak og under conet men det blir alltid trivielt når vi ser hvor mye de besøkende koser seg, leker seg og får et hjem for alt det rare vi deler interesse for! Jeg er fast konferansier på kawaiicon og ingen ting jeg kan si vil dekke hvor stolt jeg er over det. Jeg vil allikevel prøve 🥰 Jeg (@thefriendlyviking) er fra Skien og har følt veldig på en avstand fra de fleste rundt meg grunnet interessene mine. Når jeg ble introdusert for cosplay i 2011 var det som noe falt på plass. Plutselig så jeg de nerdene som før var skjult. Jeg fikk nye venner, fikk vise frem hvem jeg var på en ny måte og gav alt jeg kunne gi til denne hobbyen. Så fant jeg ut at noen skulle sette opp con i Porsgrunn...Å ha et con i dine egne hjemtrakter betyr veldig mye, men det at dette Comet da ber deg med på laget og gjør deg til gallionsfigur er noe helt sprøtt! ✨ Jeg hadde aldri turt å håpe på en mulighet og et samhold som kawaiicon er hvert år. Det at jeg nå også kan ta med meg alle elevene mine fra @hardangercosplay og vise dem hvor mye dette betyr for meg og se gleden de får av å oppleve denne magiske lille biten av livet som vi deler er noe jeg aldri blir lei av. Til alle som roser meg for alt jeg gjør på scenen, alle som har sagt rørende og hjertevarmende ord om meg som konferansier, som cosplayet, som sanger, underholder, tusen takk. Det betyr så mye at dette jeg har valgt som min yrkesvei, livsstil og hobby kan være noe andre også kan få glede av. ❤️Spesielt takk til @mango.peachii for en fantastisk duett og nydelig piano til galskapen min på åpningsshowet! 🍑Bilder av @kaihansen, takk for alt du gjør for alle på kawaiicon hvert år! Thank you for a great weekend with tons of nerds around every corner, brilliantly talented contestants for all the competitions and kindness all around ❤️ I will be more than happy to not have my armor on for a good while now! Three days in a row has been enough 😉 congratulations to @luma_cosplay for the first place in the master category and the NCC spot for 2024! I'm sure you will do great at @narcon! Hi! It's been a while!I haven't really recovered from this yet, but for those of you who don't know, I won second place at the NCC this summer! I also never made a proper post afterwards, not on here or my own cosplay account, @thefriendlyviking. This has truly been a dream come true and a dream 6 years in the making takes some time wrapping your head around. I am so grateful to my entire "team friendly" for helping me achieve this! @athehra.cosplay and @mikasu.cosplay was truly rock solid at my side ❤️✨ Not only did you have to deal with my demands, but you kept me going when I felt like I couldn't do it. Thank you both ❤️ @oni_cosplayer, thank you for sharing the journey and for all the good times both before and at the event! And @aniwayscosplay, your spirit and kindness is difficult to beat! Thank you for being such a great assistant to us both during the NCC ❤️I could obviously go on ad infinitum, but to all who supported me, taught me skills, gave me courage through these past 6 years, thank you so much ❤️ you made every single struggle, victory, late night, travel, training session, technical aspect and poor monetary decision worth the effort ❤️ ✨And now it's time to give away my spot to the next contestant for team Norway! @banzaicon will be amazing! ✨ Can't wait to see you all there ❤️🗡️📸 @allionphotography took this amazing picture ❤️ thank you for making me look badass ✨🗡️ by @thefriendlyviking
