Yes, you read that right - our Fundraising Gala raised a phenomenal and record-breaking £1,002,371

We are so deeply grateful to everyone who has helped make this happen.

The potential impact of this figure is absolutely incredible. With cancer still being one of the biggest causes of death in young people under the age of 15, this money will allow us to:

🧡 fund further research projects, leading to the development of better, kinder treatments and increasing survival rates

🧡 continue working with trusted partners to ensure families have the emotional and financial support they need

🧡 shine a bigger spotlight on childhood cancer to improve outcomes for thousands of children and young people across the UK

Our vision is a world where every child and young person survives their cancer diagnosis.

The Fabulous Adjustable Band is heading to the Children with Cancer UK Fundraising Gala 2026 at The Peninsula London (thepeninsulalondonhotel)🧡

Ricky will be joined on stage by Edele Lynch (B*Witched), Natasha Hamilton (Atomic Kitten), Gary Stringer (Reef), Rick Parfitt Jnr and Claire Richards (Steps) for a very special performance on 7 November.

One stage, an incredible line-up and an unforgettable evening, all coming together to raise vital funds for children and young people affected by cancer.

A UK first in childhood cancer research. 🧡

Researchers at the University of Edinburgh (@edinburghuniversity) have carried out a pioneering procedure that could one day help boys undergoing cancer treatment have children of their own. Led by Professor Rod Mitchell, the team has transplanted previously frozen testicular tissue back into a 19-year-old who underwent high-dose chemotherapy, which can permanently affect fertility.

@childrenwithcanceruk is incredibly proud to have supported this research for over a decade, first funding the programme in 2015 and providing further funding in 2024 to support the transplantation study. For boys who haven't yet reached puberty, sperm freezing isn't an option. This research could offer new hope to children and families facing the long-term effects of cancer treatment.

While it's still too early to know whether the procedure will restore fertility, this is an important milestone in research that could make a real difference to young people's futures.

The countdown to our Children with Cancer UK Fundraising Gala is on, and we’re excited to reveal some of the incredible names joining us on 7 November 🧡

Denise Van Outen (@vanouten_denise) will be getting the evening started as our arrival drinks DJ, before Jon (@mrjonathanlee82) & Jo (@jo_omeara) take to the stage for a special performance. And when the gala comes to an end, Max Tyler (@maxtylerofficial) will be keeping the celebrations going at our after party.

45 hours of painting went into this one, and for good reason 🖤.

Earlier this year I approached @sarahharanuk with an idea for something really special for the Children with Cancer UK fundraising gala, and I’m SO happy they wanted to get involved.

They kindly donated this beautiful Dahlia Tote and we worked together on the direction for the design before I set about covering it in hand painted daisies, cosmos, forget-me-nots and the gold childhood cancer awareness ribbon.

I wanted the flowers to be more than just pretty, so each one has its own meaning and connection to the children and families supported by @childrenwithcanceruk

This charity is incredibly close to my heart. I’ve had the privilege of working closely with Debbie, mum of Dulcie who was being treated for stage 4, high-risk Neuroblastoma, for a few years now, and Dulcie is the same age as my own son. Knowing even a small part of what she and her family have been through has made the work that Children with Cancer UK does feel even more important.

The finished bag is completely one of a kind and will be auctioned at the Children with Cancer UK fundraising gala in November.

I’m so grateful to Sarah Haran for donating the bag and giving me the opportunity to do what I love for a charity that means so much to me.

45 hours, one very special handbag, and hopefully a LOT of money raised. 🖤
