When you’ve been wounded, it’s easy to believe that brokenness is the end of your story. But Jesus says otherwise.

Every one of us has been hurt, and every one of us has hurt others. Sin leaves wounds behind, and the enemy loves to keep reminding us of our failures, hoping we’ll believe we’ll never change. But that’s not the voice of Jesus.

Jesus didn’t come to shame you for your brokenness. He came to heal it. He binds up wounded hearts, forgives what sin has broken, and gives hope where shame once lived. In Christ, your past doesn’t have the final word. His grace does.

No matter what you’ve been through or what you’ve done, don’t settle for living wounded when Jesus is inviting you into healing. He is still restoring hearts, renewing lives, and making all things new.

So many of us live like it’s all up to us. We try harder, worry more, and keep pushing, hoping we’ll finally have enough. But God never asked you to rely on your own strength or resources. He invites you to come to Him.

Scripture reminds us that our Heavenly Father gives generously to those who ask Him in humility. Whatever you need today—wisdom, peace, strength, courage, or hope—God isn’t running out. His grace is more than enough, and His supply never comes up empty.

Stop looking only at what you have. Start looking at who God is. He has everything you need, and He loves to give to His children.

The greatest growth in your faith doesn’t happen when life is easy. It happens when Jesus is all you have.

If you’re walking through something that doesn’t make sense right now, remember this: God is still at work. He isn’t wasting this moment. He’s teaching you to trust Him in ways you never could if everything was comfortable.

Hard seasons reveal two things: how faithful God is and how much we need Him. As you keep walking with Jesus, you’ll discover that He is always trustworthy, always present, and always working for your good.

So keep holding on to Jesus. Ask Him, “Lord, increase my faith. Teach me to trust You more.” The Holy Spirit will use today’s pressure to strengthen you for tomorrow’s calling.

What feels heavy today can become the very place where your faith grows the deepest.

Jesus wants to shape every part of our lives, including the way we love and serve one another at home.

Today, we continued our A Life of Faith series in 1 Peter 3:1–12 and looked at what it means for a home to be centered on Jesus. Sisters are invited to pursue the lasting beauty of a heart devoted to God. Brothers are called to understand, honor, and love with the heart of Christ. Together, we’re invited to reflect Jesus in the way we speak, respond, forgive, and care for one another.

One of the greatest joys of the day was seeing so many people respond to the invitation to follow Jesus. Watching lives be changed by His grace never gets old. Every person who said “yes” to Jesus is a beautiful reminder that God is still drawing people to Himself and making all things new.

We also had the privilege of celebrating child dedications with our Family of Faith. Seeing parents commit to raising their children to know and follow Jesus, while our church family commits to praying for them and walking alongside them, is a beautiful picture of faith being passed from one generation to the next.

When you know how deeply you’re loved by God, you can face anything with hope. Your victory isn’t found in your own strength. It’s found in the unshakable love God has for you. His love is stronger than your fear, greater than your failures, and more powerful than any obstacle you’ll ever face.

Because of Jesus, you don’t have to fight for His approval or wonder if He’s with you. You are fully known, deeply loved, and never alone. So stand confidently in His love. Let it strengthen your heart, renew your hope, and remind you that nothing can separate you from the love of God. That’s where true victory is found.

Worry keeps your mind fixed on everything you can’t control, but prayer reminds you that your Heavenly Father is already in control. Every anxious thought is an invitation to bring your worries to God.

Remember the times He made a way when you couldn’t see one. The same God who was faithful then is faithful now.

As you remember His faithfulness, fear loses its grip, hope rises, and peace fills your heart. Don’t rehearse your fears today. Remember God’s faithfulness and let that lead you to prayer.

Well...after 16 years, I decided to switch things up a bit!

To be honest, this reminded me of something that’s true for every follower of Jesus. Our strength has never come from our appearance, our accomplishments, or what people know us for. Our strength comes from the Holy Spirit who lives within us.

The way we look will change, but the One who lives in us never does. So let your confidence be rooted in Jesus, because when your identity is in Him, nothing on the outside can define you! Amen?

The surrendered life is where the beauty of Jesus shines the brightest.

I love our Crossroads family so much! Today, as we continued our A Life of Faith series, we opened 1 Peter 2:11-25 and explored what it means to live as the people of God in a world that doesn’t always embrace the way of Jesus. Peter reminds us that we’re called to stand out, not by demanding attention, but by reflecting the heart of Christ in the way we live, serve, work, and respond to others.

Also...yes, the rumors are true, I got a fresh haircut after 16 years! It seemed to surprise just about everyone this morning! Thankfully, a new haircut doesn’t change the mission. Jesus is real and still changing lives, and that’s what matters most.

I was so encouraged by the way our church family worshiped, leaned into God’s Word, and simply responded to Jesus together. We are seeing such a beautiful summer of community at Crossroads. Yesterday was an amazing Second Saturday, and we also had such a great time at the Men’s Workout + Cookout. I love seeing our family of faith come together, grow together, and serve together.

Sometimes the reason we feel so exhausted isn’t because we’re doing too much. It’s because we’re carrying burdens God never asked us to carry. We take on worries, responsibilities, and outcomes that belong in His hands. But Jesus invites us to take His yoke instead. His yoke is easy, His burden is light, and in Him we find rest for our souls.

Today, ask the Lord, “Is there anything I’m carrying that belongs to You?” Then choose to surrender it. God is strong enough to carry every burden, and He delights in lifting the weight from your shoulders. Trust Him with what you were never meant to carry, and discover the peace that comes from walking closely with Jesus.
