Meet me in 5s!

Better late than never 🤣
What do we have in common? by @thegamingreader

Am I dreaming?!

Today I get to update my street team post to add another one of my all time favorite authors. 🥹

Each of these authors created worlds and characters that live rent free in my head. Between the representation, plot twists, and banter, they give me the escape I need from daily life.

Happy release day to Captive Traitor King by @brigidkemmerer

The sequel to Warrior Princess Assassin is out today! Jory, Asher, and Kai are such great characters and the tension in this book was fantastic! The way I have fallen so deep for these characters and then that ending?! The small moments where they take down their walls and learn to trust… so well done, hands down one of my favorite series!

Blurb:
CAPTIVE. Asher has always sworn loyalty to Jory, the princess he’s loved from afar—but now the King of Incendar has claimed a place in his heart too. Someone wants them both dead, and only Asher’s blade can keep them safe. Yet his past won’t let him go, and he must decide if he can break free—or remain prisoner to his old scars.

TRAITOR. Princess Jory of Astranza agreed to marry the King of Incendar to secure peace, but betrayal runs closer than she ever imagined. With her own brother unmasked as her enemy, two kingdoms teeter on the edge. To protect her people, she must take the throne. But there are still dark secrets to unravel that will force Jory to confront where her true allegiance lies.

KING. Maddox Kyronan has discovered trust—and something more—with his reluctant bride and her deadly protector, but the fragile alliance between their nations threatens to unravel. His people are starving. His enemies are circling in. Torn between the crown and his heart, Ky risks losing it all.

As buried truths surface and tensions reach a breaking point, Jory, Asher, and Ky must confront the desires that could save their kingdoms—or shatter them forever. by @thegamingreader

My love letter to the Queen of banter and swooning @authorjennyhickman ❤️

Last year I picked up a book called Bound by Gravity and was absolutely hooked on the duet about star crossed lovers with the world against them. The beautiful writing, the twists, the banter, and heartbreak… I could not put them down! Then I went to Romantasy BookCon and met @authorjennyhickman , picked up a few other books of hers, and I have become such a huge fan since.

She promised For Ever would heal me, and wow was she correct. Kerris being a soft girly FMC who still holds her ground by standing up for what is right is exactly what we need more of right now. 💖 My lavender hair era will forever be dedicated to Kerris Dawn.

I’ve had the absolute joy of getting to see Jenny in person 3 times now. The way she lights up a room and makes people smile is magical. I’ve also gotten to know @glitterinthepages and Megs brings the sparkles, love, and laughs every time. ❤️✨ This book community has blessed me with meeting absolute gem of human beings. The memories and laughter these two have inspired I will cherish always!

So if you want to support some amazing humans and laugh, give them a follow and pick up one of Jenny’s books. She has one for every mood, perfect for a cancer zodiac sign like myself. 😂 You will not be disappointed! 🖤

Ps) How many times can you find the word “banter” in this photo? 😆 can you spot them all? by @thegamingreader

Shelfie Sunday ✨📚

Unpacked from Romantasy and changed up a few small things on my shelves (shoutout to the magnetic hooks I impulsively bought to hold up lights and decorations 😂).

Halloween was fantastic and October was a whirlwind, but it was worth every moment of chaos. 🖤 I hope your November is full of love and good times.

QotD: What are your plans for today?
I’m enjoying family time/ relaxing and maybe thrift shopping later! by @thegamingreader

I had the absolute best time reading Dominion! Tiger bonding and a FMC with amnesia done well, plus the last couple of chapters with crazy twists that make me rethink EVERYTHING?! Sold!!! Jean was a delight to meet and I was so excited to dress as Rubi, even if my blue wig didn’t come in time and I had to improvise with blue hair glitter. 😂✨💙 Flame the Tiger is my favorite and the side characters are fantastic too. Animal partners/sidekicks are supreme!!

I had to save my photo with the one and only @laraonfire from Romantasy BookCon to make a separate post because her books are THAT good. 😍

I recently finished Their Wicked Cage, book 2 in the interconnected standalones series Tales from the Wyldelands. We follow Gwyn, a witch hiding from her coven due to a traumatic past as she attempts to help Riven, the fae king, to heal his kingdom. The banter and push/ pull as the characters figure out how to move forward is fantastic! I eat up character growth in a series, and the boundaries/ communication these two learn by the end are fantastic. 🖤

Which would you rather be: a vampire, a witch, or fae? by @thegamingreader

Romantasy BookCon 2026 was everything. ❤️
@fabledfantasyevents

The authors, the people, the books, the volunteers, the vibes, the events.

Thank you to everyone I interacted with. My soul is so full and these memories will be cherished forever. ❤️

This was my first time getting a higher level ticket and it was worth every penny. The ball was a blast with the dancing, desserts, photo opportunities, entertainment, and characters to interact with! ✨ by @thegamingreader

Romantasy BookCon days 1&2 were so incredible. There is no greater feeling than seeing your favorite people and authors that create these magical worlds with characters that speak to your soul. Getting to be Rubi and Flame, trading with other amazing book people, laughing until I have tears in my eyes, getting emotional with special people, making new friends in line… my heart is so full! 🥰 by @thegamingreader

There is just something about vampires. 🦇

Underworld, Dracula, Vampire Diaries, Twilight, Mom’s got a Date with a Vampire, The Little Vampire… I’ve always loved them! 🩸
