I have almost no videos from SWFF, tell tale sign of a magical time. But I will be riding the high and carrying the energy of @southwestflowfestival and @thegatewayranch with me everyday!! Every time I’ve returned to The Gateway I have been changed and grown as a human and flow artist from the year before. I remember how it felt to be shown what flow arts was 3 years ago and I harness that spark and try to gift that spark to anyone who seems interested in this beautiful art form. My perspective is brighter, I transmute my negative feelings and emotions, I am more patient and kind to myself and others, I more enjoy the practice, the learning and becoming better at something. There are many many things I’ve learned in this journey and I am a better person, partner, and friend because of it. Going with the flow, trusting the hands of the universe, bowing deeply to the winding road, seeing the magic in every little thing, always taking the opportunity to dance, there are lessons I hold so close to my heart that before flow, I didn’t even know were possible. The open door of flow has given me so much, just by feeding and giving to the flow, myself🌀
I am eternally grateful, I feel so held by the magic. I feel more myself than ever. Thank you to every single soul at SWFF26 the energy was ELECTRIC⚡️🩵💧👁️🪩

There’s something special about the creative community here in Flagstaff.

We like to move. We like to make things. We like to play outside, learn from each other, dance under the stars, and find slightly unusual ways to spend a weekend.

Southwest Flow Festival grew out of that spirit.

Now in our fifth year, @sondering.community is bringing the community back together September 18–20 at @thegatewayranch for a weekend of movement, flow arts, workshops, music, dancing, creativity, camping, fire circles, and connection.

And you absolutely do not need to be an experienced flow artist to have fun here!

SWFF is for beginners, longtime flow arts practitioners, families, dancers, artists, curious humans, and anyone who wants to spend a weekend outside learning, playing, creating, and meeting wonderful people.

If you live in Flagstaff and this sounds like your kind of thing, we’d love to have you join us.

Make friends. Make art. Level up.

September 18–20, 2026
Gateway Ranch • Near Flagstaff
Camping included
All ages • Beginner friendly

Come play with us.

This year was such an incredible reminder of what this community is capable of when people show up with openness, creativity, generosity, and a willingness to be part of something.

So many times throughout the weekend, I looked around and thought, “Wow. These are our friends. These are our friends’ friends. This is our community.”

Many of you have shared how much this gathering meant to you. A few people asked some version of, “How can I help?” or “How can I contribute more to this?”

My first answer is always the simplest one: keep showing up.

Keep being part of it. Keep bringing good people. Keep offering your creativity, your presence, your care, your weird ideas, your useful skills, and your full self.

That really is the heart of it.

When we first imagined Mosaic, the vision was always about celebrating the talent, knowledge, creativity, and artistic beauty of this community. And this year, I genuinely felt like I witnessed that vision come to life in a way we had never experienced at this level before.

Our amazing friend and photographer, @_ashley_darling_ , captured a beautiful gallery from the weekend. Please go find photos of yourself and your friends, post your favorites, tag your people, tag us, and help spread the word about what we just created together.

Fortunately, we don’t have to wait a whole year for the next Sondering event at Gateway Ranch.
Southwest Flow Festival returns September 18 & 19, 2026, for its fifth year.

Same Sondering community energy at Mosaic. But more movement, flow, embodiment, fire, play, and reconnecting with our physical bodies.

A handful of the $50-off @southwestflowfestival tickets are still available. The ticket link is in the SWFF page bio.

Thank you again for your part in making Mosaic what it has become.

With love, gratitude, and a full heart,
Hucks @scribblecat.love
