Stranger Things is finally over, and me, personally? I loved it. I think the fact that the ending is so reminiscent of many of my favorite stories, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and a lot of D&D campaigns I've personally been in, it's a really beautiful and touching end in my opinion. I think some stories are meant to be analyzed to death and picked apart and dissected at length but I honestly don't think Stranger Things is one of them, I think it's a story that is meant to be emotionally moving, and it succeeds in that, it wasn't perfect for everyone, but honestly it was almost perfect to me. Eleven did deserve better though. But I Believe she's in a better place now, either way, a place with at least 3 waterfalls. Thank you to the Duffer brothers and to the entire cast and crew of Stranger Things for giving me a story I could grow up alongside and actors I could see myself in and grow up with, thank you for giving me a finale that not only gave me closure on my own childhood ending, but gave me hope for my future. Thank you for introducing me to the wonderful world of Dungeon's and Dragons and thank you for teaching me most of all, the importance of being a good friend. Happy 10 Year Anniversary to Stranger Things, god how the time flies by, 2016 was an insane year honestly, still nuts to me that Stranger Things, Overwatch, Captain America Civil War, My Hero Academia the anime and so many other big movies/franchises came out that year, but Stranger Things was far and away the one that's held my heart the tighest, I was very sad to see it end earlier this year, January 1st, but 6 months later, I'm just grateful for the ride. ♡ by @theghostofsalem
