“I make a ton of money. Why can’t I get a home loan?”

That’s exactly what one client asked me after getting turned down by a big bank.

The problem wasn’t the income.

It was how the bank was looking at it.

For self-employed borrowers, tax returns don’t always show the full picture. We can use bank statements and actual business deposits to look at the income differently.

Sometimes you don’t need to make more money.

You just need the right loan program.
