A Letter to the Next Generation of Ministers and Believers

Dear Younger Ministers and Brethren,

I am genuinely bothered about the future of ministry in Nigeria. The hatred among men we should honour as fathers of the faith makes it harder for you to value and honour them. I understand why, but guard your heart.

These fathers carried the Gospel through poverty and years of unseen labour. You stand on ground they broke open. "Remember them which have the rule over you… whose faith follow" (Hebrews 13:7).

David would not touch Saul, though Saul hunted him (1 Samuel 24:6). Honour is a posture before God, not a reward for perfection. You can disagree without despising.

Do not inherit offences you did not earn. Do not build on tearing others down. "Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another" (Romans 12:10).

To the fathers: the young are watching. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity" (Psalm 133:1).

Let us be a generation that honours, serves humbly, and keeps its heart clean.

A lot has been happening in the background, from building SMAT to growing my capacity in digital, social media, strategy and marketing.

Here are three lessons:

1. Take responsibility for your dream.

Before seeking external support, ask how much you are supporting your own dream.
“Commit your work to the Lord…” — Proverbs 16:3

2. Build a rhythm, not perfect balance.

Different seasons require different priorities. For me, this season is about relationships, experiences and work.
“For everything there is a season…” — Ecclesiastes 3:1

3. Don't outsource your definition of success.

Your journey has its own timeline.
“Do not despise these small beginnings…” — Zechariah 4:10

Build intentionally. Build daily.

Father I, Gideon says thank you.
I thank you for all you have done in my life this year 2026. I am grateful for health, for stability and for growth. I thank you because indeed I judge you faithfully in all things.

Thank you for the provision in all things. Thank you for blessing me with creativity and wisdom. Thank you for blessing me with utterance.

I thank you for January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August and now SEPTEMBER.

I thank you because better indeed is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof and this last quarter of the year will be full of ABUNDANCE AND SETTLEMENT.

Thank you for my job because indeed you have been faithful. Thank you for The Social Media Accelerators Tribe @smatribeglobal and the team building it with me.

Thank you for @menmountinitiative it has been a hassle building this but we won't give up.

Thank you for the gift of friendships, old and new. Thank you for mentors and mentees and above all thank you for my pastors and my family.

Father, I just came today to say thank you.

Indeed Glory to God in the highest!!

Singing- I have seen the lord's goodness, His mercies and compassion, I have seen the lord's goodness Hallelujah! Praise the lord!

As I journey in the year, 2026 I come to see more and more the reality of this song. God indeed has been Good.

The month of June is coming to an end in about 5 days and I am not counting losses I am counting gains.

1. Broke a jinx that had brought fear and concern to my mind.
2. Launched a Podcast called SMATPOD (once the first episode is live you will see it) while currently planning to register a new baby @smatribeglobal
3. Wrote another book titled Positioned to be Seen- taken from the story of Zaccheus in the bible. Trusting the book to be published latest by my birthday.
4. Hosted a meeting after a 2-year hiatus tagged THE MOVE OF GOD and we had about 18 people in attendance. Trusting God for the second edition towards the end of the year and a Campus Invasion at Olabisi Onabanjo University by God's grace in October.
5. Spent cumulatively over 100hrs in prayers and I am trusting God to do more in the remaining half of the year.
6. Seen healings, miracles both in my life and others I have been privileged to be a blessing to.

These and many more are testimonies so far.

I am grateful to God for bringing me this far and I am persuaded that indeed the rest of the year is the best of the year for me.

About 2 weeks ago, while I was at the Unilag sports center, the lord began to steer my heart towards a burden in this season for the students primarily in Unilag and across all tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

There is a call to consecrate yourself oh student.
There is a cry in the heavens, saying WHO SHALL I SEND AND WHO WILL GO FOR US?

UNILAG- Hear the word of the lord, You are to be the seat of innovation but you have become the seat of uncertainty. The travails of your forerunners both students and lecturers alike, go unattended to and for that I will cause my burdens to spread across you like wild fire. Repentance, Consecrations, Love, Faith and Hope will be restored. Mammon will no longer rule and prevail on your lands. Moremi Hall- I am coming to do a sweep says the lord and restoring order and righteousness. No more depressions, suicides, secrets will be exposed until righteousness exalts again in Unilag.

OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY- Oh! Oh!! Oh!! They that sit in darkness have seen a great light. They have said concerning you what good can come out of you? But I the lord says I am exalting your head above the clouds and from you will come innovations, legacy and creativity. Give attention to my prophet's oh students of OOU for I am sending voices to you in the coming days and months to restore order and bring light to you.

UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN- Why have you condoned the lie of the enemy that you are old and feeble and weak. Who told you that nothing new and fresh can come out of you? Didnt you see in my word that A DEAD TREE, AT THE SCENT OF WATER WILL LIVE AGAIN? Awake from your sleep and arise from the place of the dead. For there is yet much more to be done.

OAU- The cries of those who made covenants with me all around you have come up to me and I swore to them that I will not REST till I make a NAME for myself in your lands. Re-dig the ancient wells on your lands and cry out to me that I might RESTORE AND RESTORE AGAIN THE GLORY OF YOUR LAND.

This is the word of the lord.

A Letter to the Church in Unilag:

I need to talk to the church in Unilag.
Not the building. Not the fellowship banner. The people.

Because I've seen the reports — freshers being handed a catalogue of compromises before they find their lecture halls. Bodies being traded for rent money in a city that doesn't apologize for what it costs. Assault normalized. Substances consumed in the dark. A culture of silence that protects the wrong people every single time.

And yet.

Pastor E. A Adeboye got his PhD on that campus. Doctor Tunde Bakare sharpened his mind in those lecture halls. Doctor D.K. Olukoya walked those same grounds. Amongst many other notable names. These weren't men born into ease — they were men who decided that what God said about them was louder than what Lagos offered them.
That ground is consecrated. And so are you.

You were purchased. Not discounted. Not negotiated. Purchased — at the full, unreserved price of the cross. Christ looked at every version of you — including this one, under this pressure, in this city — and said worth it.

So before you open that door, before you make that compromise, before you convince yourself survival requires this — remember: your Father owns cattle on a thousand hills, and He has not forgotten your name.

The church in Unilag doesn't just attend Unilag. It redeems it.

Rise accordingly.

We are praying for you, and we are certain that God will do what only He can do in UNILAG.

One of the things I am forever grateful to God for is the gift of SALVATION.

I never claim to be a perfect or sinless believer but I am grateful that in spite of me, He loves me eternally.

And on this day, we celebrate the core of the Christian faith, the fact that He, Jesus rose from the dead.

Come to think of this- if jesus came, died and didn't rise- of what use is the claim of the believer on eternal life?

Also, if Jesus came and didn't die at all- of what use is the premise that Jesus was 100% man yet 100% God?

Today we celebrate His Rising because in this we know that we have eternal life, in this we know that we are forgiven, in this we know that we are eternally saved.
