THE UNTAMED FRONTIER. Nestled in the stunning mountains of West Texas, this cozy dinner party perfectly blended a touch of country charm with a dash of rock and roll flair. The rich browns and worn leather set a warm foundation, beautifully contrasted by vibrant pops of orange, hot pink, and bright blue found in the lush florals and chair pillows. The real stars of the show were the bandanas, serving as both napkins and place cards, each lovingly embroidered with the names of our guests and featuring the cutest little cowboy you could imagine! As is our tradition, we kicked off the evening with a colorful cheese board, followed by a delicious meal of beef tenderloin, roasted rosemary new potatoes, and bacon-wrapped asparagus. The wine flowed freely, and the conversation sparkled under a dazzling blanket of stars as the night unfolded! . . BTS of our Volume 13 shoot with @thegirlgeneral 🎞️ If you’re a paper person, you’re going to want to see The Girl General’s new space on Broadway. We got to shoot Anne, Madelyn, and Juliana there with Michael, surrounded by what feels like endless inspiration. Invitation suites, paper samples, colors, textures, signage...there are so many beautiful little details tucked into this space, which made it very easy to have fun with the photos. The Girl General has been creating beautiful things in San Antonio since 2007, and while they may be best known for their wedding invitations, what they do goes way beyond the invite. They’re thinking about the entire event, from save the dates and menus to place cards, signage, custom dance floors, merch, and all those little touches that make a celebration feel completely personal. Some venues are just a backdrop. Camp Waldemar was so much more than that for the Bathies 🏕️⁠ ⁠ All three of Jenna’s sisters were campers and counselors at Waldemar. Sebastian was a counselor at Camp La Junta, the brother camp nearby. And Jenna always knew she wanted to marry him there. Before her father passed away in 2023, he knew that too. So when the weekend finally came - guests arriving at camp Friday, a welcome party that night, and the wedding on Saturday - it carried the kind of weight that only a place with that much history can hold.⁠ ⁠ Guests felt the camp magic from the moment they received their @thegirlgeneral invite in the mail to the moment Jenna descended the steps to meet Sebastian in front of a gorgeous floral arch by @trinityflowers__. And all the custom printed goodies in their weekend bags didn’t hurt either! The @sweetaugustevents team truly knocked it out of the park on both the design & guest experience. Plus, @freesiadesignsevents created the most stunning seating chart and custom bars. No one wanted to leave the reception tent all night! Twinkling string lights over chic tables set with @luxetabletop and a rocking live band, what more could a wedding need?⁠ ⁠ What a beautiful celebration filled with so much love. Every detail of this black-tie celebration was thoughtfully designed to feel timeless, immersive, and completely unforgettable.
