One of the most interesting things about this panel and the conversation we had in the Creative and Media Pod session of the Pod Live 2026 @onherownlane is that it was for everyone. So versatile.

Whether you are a business founder, a creative entrepreneur, a student, a creative, a corporate girlie, or building a product or rendering a service, you will learn something.

You will learn about telling your story intentionally in a way that people can care, with authenticity. Telling it in a way that is memorable, and how your story can eventually help you build trust with your community and become a business with a clear objective.

One of the things I really enjoy about hosting an event or moderating a panel session is that I don’t just get to learn and research the topic in focus, I get to learn from experienced experts who speak on the topic. It doesn’t just add to my wealth of knowledge, it inspires me to put it into action. And I’m definitely using all the tips I learned from this conversation to tell my story in my journey of becoming an actor and event host.

So, distinguished Ladies and Gentleman, my name is Glory Emmanuel. I’m an Actor and Event Host who hosts events across corporate, private, specially themed, red carpet, and business events. Every post I make here is an intentional effort to tell my story. And I can tell yours too, through live experiences as an event host or through my skills as an actor.

So tell me in the comments, what story are you telling about yourself today? 👇 by @thegloryemmanuel

In my attempt to stay consistent here, I was looking for what to post this morning because I wasn’t done editing videos from my last event.

And since it’s Monday, and they say Monday sets the tone for the week, I found myself reminiscing on my last visit to Lagos Business School. It was work-related, but these pictures were taken over a year ago and they still feel so fresh in my memory.

Right before I took them, my sales team lead @landgirl_ng told me, “Glory, you’re in the best season of your life.” I didn’t quite understand at the time, but what she meant was: you’re not married, you live alone, you don’t have a child you’re responsible for, so you have no reason not to give your all to the business that pays you. Whatever you want to do, just give it your all because you may never have this season again.

And boy, was she right! A lot has changed from then till now, plot twist after plot twist. But if there’s one thing I’ll continue to do excellently well, whether married, single, living alone or in a full house, it’s to give my all, because the world truly rewards excellence.

Okay, welcome to my TED Talk 🤣 by @thegloryemmanuel
