Water day 🌿

People always ask how I keep so many houseplants alive. Truth is, I never really thought about it until y’all started asking.

Today was actually the first day I counted them…

77. 🤯🌱

I don’t spend hours caring for them every day. Once a week, I check each plant and only take to the sink the ones that actually need water.

Twice a month, most of them get carried outside for fresh air, sunshine, pest inspections, and a little extra attention. I honestly think that regular inspection and observation is what keeps them thriving.

It’s a bit of work on those days, but seeing my home transformed into a living jungle makes every trip up and down the stairs worth it.

Creating life with my own bare hands…🫶🏽

My home is my sanctuary.

I’m learning to create confidently and fearlessly using the gifts and visions GOD gave me.
This space was built with simple materials; pine boards, wood blocks, river rocks, peel-and-stick lights, and 1x2 framing pieces transformed into something grounding, zen and peaceful.

A reminder that beauty does not always come from expensive things. Sometimes it comes from vision, intention, and your own two hands.

Just minding my gardens🪴 💕Made some updates; added a snake plant wall because snake plants are just easy and upright! Added more 4 head adjustable clamp growlights to the stairs, and a propogation station because my pothos are growing out of control. I love it though🫶🏽🌱. ‼️‼️Correction I used about 3 & 1/3 yards of fabric not 1 and 2/3rds‼️I think this one is for the girls who saw my last Natural Fiber Wardrobe Series and said, “yeahhh… I’m not doing that” 😂

This kaftan is SO much easier than it looks. And this was my first time playing with natural indigo, so we definitely learned as we went.

I love how it turned out though and now I want to make more for the Fall season. What color should I try next? by @thegoddessflow

Still carrying the energy from this weekend’s Women’s Weaving Circle. 🤎

These gatherings are about more than creating, it’s the opportunity of slowing down, connecting, sharing, and making something beautiful TOGETHER.

I’m wrapping up this two-piece design and moving on to create a few new ones, but before I do, I wanted to show you how I made it.

I wanted to use one of the easiest natural dyes I could think of, and turmeric was the answer. 🌿
