Baby Reindeer by Richard Gadd

Dialogues to me, are underrated these days. The cinematic experience precedes the verbal dynamics between the characters. Though we have started to like the silence of the movie frames, I feel that speaking in still frames is indeed much powerful. And that is exactly what Richard Gadd has done. The characters exhibit compulsive madness and it's portrayal does full justice.
There is another mind bustling thing about Baby Reindeer(amongst many) which is, it's not always mandatory to un-layer the characters. Sometimes you as a writer also do not know the intent of the character. This may sound misdirected but this presents art in the most realistic manner.
Not knowing it all.
And yes, that's the beauty.

It's the matter of perception and observation.

An evil life for others is a goddam heaven for someone.
A life full of love is a pity for someone else.

We don't get to choose where to come from. But we do get a shot to weave our own yarns. A destiny written by self. Away from evil, away from pity.

East of Eden - A piece of brilliant art.

In the airy villa of east coast
You dance like waves of turquoise
Folding like ribbons
In the fringes of my hand
I seek purpose in you
An incomplete desire
A bookmark standing on the last page

The brown leathered skin on you
Pinch through the blisters on my heart

Reminding me of the same old love
