Every treatment starts with a double cleanse.

An oil cleanser will help remove heavy makeup, and sebum that a single water-based wash often leaves behind. Remember oil removes oil.

Using a gel, cream, or foaming cleanser to then wash away sweat, dirt, dead skin cells, and any leftover residue. I love products with colloidal oat, rice milk, almond oil, they leave the skin slinky soft without that tight soapy feeling.

I will always use warm steamy towels to help the skin feel relaxed and soften, it’s in these moments I feel the client sink into the warm bed, drop their shoulders and allow themselves to be cared for. by @thegoodthingsgrow

TGTG turns 1!

What an amazing year it’s been. I’ve met the most amazing people and have felt so honoured to hold space for others. I’ve loved every treatment, loved working my first retreat, developing products I love, there’s so much more to come for the rest of the year and I’m just deeply thankful I get to call this space work!

The studio keeps developing, skills are evolving, practice is growing. 🌝 big love, G xxx by @thegoodthingsgrow

TGTG 💕❤️ A cosy hideaway offering holistic facials & wellbeing therapies. by @thegoodthingsgrow

Lymphatic brushing sweeps away stagnant fluid and water retention especially around the eyes, jawline, and cheeks. Using a super soft brush with intentional movement results in an immediate depuffed appearance.

Increasing microcirculation brings oxygen and fresh nutrients to skin cells for that healthy glow!

It’s often the smallest and simplest approaches that give the skin what it needs.

Facial cupping is my favourite thing , it helps to release the fascia by gently stretching the area, melting tension, relaxing the jaw and boosting blood flow.

This then allows products such as serums to be absorbed into the skins barrier allowing you to receive the benefits from the active ingredients. by @thegoodthingsgrow

Mushrooms!

I love these in treatments especially when used under the eye area.

Holding a chilled stone mushroom under the eyes constricts blood vessels, which significantly reduces dark circles, under-eye bags, and sinus pressure.

They feel so delicate and chilled giving instant relief! ❤️💫 by @thegoodthingsgrow

I love this little space I have carved out for my clients and I, I use intentional aromatherapy to help bring the senses to balance depending on moods, weather and personal needs. The bed is lined with feather duvets and heated blankets making sure you feel like your laying in the clouds. The sound track is curated to guide you through the treatment. Each product is made using only the power and potency of plants.

You’re here with your feet on the wooden floors, sipping a herbal tea in the chair, chatting away with me, and that’s when you realise it’s so much more than a facial, it’s a moment, a breath, a pause. by @thegoodthingsgrow
