Where to go In York
A walk along the River Ouse, going towards Millennium Bridge will take you to Rowntree Park.

A beautiful park to visit for a picnic, kids can play in the play park or you can enjoy drinks and snacks at the cafe.

You can buy bird food from the cafe to feed the numerous ducks, gees, waterhens and occasionally swans.

🍁Autumn in York

Autumn is my favourite time of year and York always looks gorgeous as the leaves change colour tand the temperature drops.

There is so much to do on a visit to York and so much to see.

🐿️A walk along the river or in one of the gardens where you can see an abundance of squirrels dashing around. by @thegramyork

York can be so beautiful at night.

Last night we sat outside at The Starr in the City, next to the Museum Gardens and thoroughly enjoyed listening to Orchestral Manoeuvres in The Dark and it was brilliant.

Walking along the river to the railway station was magical, the river was so flat and calm.

2026 and York is enjoying some lovely sunsets and cold frosty days, perfect for taking snaps.

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas break, and enjoying a slow and steady start to 2026.
