I challenged myself last year in December to get to 12 live performances on 2025 and I was almost certain I would fail until I got a message from @kathleennlynn saying she wanted to have a final Sunday At The Studio. 💜

For those who don't know, Sunday At The Studio was a poetry and music event that started in 2021 thanks to some truly talented friends of mine @lyssiebrown and @zyevtu . They invited poets, painters, singers, and even cellists and trumpet players to come and make art history with us and its where I met @johnnymurrell for the first time. We were the only two musicians that came the first time and we locked in IMMEDIATELY. (Its also where I met @airyempress , TRULY gifted.) 💜

Last Sunday, the 21st, was the last time we'd have this event at The Studio and the house was full of 'Sunday' OGs. It was funny: 'Sunday' was also where I first started playing my own music in public. The first 'Sunday' was my first time playing live. And now we're all grown up and we got to close out a magnificent event with family. 💜

I'm glad that its all working out. I'm glad that, 4 years later, everyone is thriving and making art and living a truly beautiful life as far as I can tell. I'm glad we're all here. 💜

The year of The Snake ends with a full shedding of the old skin. The year of the horse dawns in less than 2 weeks. It will be our best year by far.

I don't have anything to say
Go drink some water
Sit in the shade with no music
Let your brain and spirit rest for a minute

Food for thought, just a lil intellectual snack of sorts.

Mind you, no one is creating treatment plans to giving anyone prescription drugs. Its just noticing trends in behavior. Pattern recognition and social labeling. It's not deep, why do I need a degree in herbology to properly call a tree a tree when I'm walking through a forest.

Shrug. Whatever bro.

Genuinely everything was fine until right when it was the most inconvenient it could have possibly been. I had fun still but Jesus christ, oh my god, the pain was incredible. And having to focus through not being able to breathe was SO much fun, I loved that part.

Regardless, the dudes at The Church are SUPER chill and good at what they do. 10/10 will be returning taken in Tulsa, Oklahoma by @thegreatcorn
