POSTS STORIES REELS

I figured it was finally time to officially introduce my fluffy reading companion 🐾📚

Meet Poppy: my reading buddy, adventure companion, and occasional interrupter of perfectly good reading time 😂

She is a super cuddly 5½-year-old Labernese (Labrador Retriever × Bernese Mountain Dog). Whether I’m curled up with a book at home or reading somewhere in the woods, she’s usually not very far away🌲

So whenever you see a pup sneaking into my photos, it is her 💕

Do you have a reading buddy too? 🐾📖

Starting my ARC of Holly & Havoc 🎄🔪✨

And apparently I couldn't have timed this one any better...Christmas tree is up, Poppy is cozy, and I'm officially ready for some holiday havoc 👀🎄

Thank you @evanrosebutcher for the ARC! 💕 by @thegreenchaletreads

✨ Special Edition Sunday ✨

This week's special edition is the @fairyloot edition of Shadow Reaper by @lynettenoni 🌙✨

There are SO many gorgeous details on this edition! 😍 I especially love the blues on this one, almost seems to be glowing! Definitely one of my favorite colours

And of course, we can't ignore those beautiful illustrated endpapers! I especially love the forest scene, which just seemed to perfectly fit the background today 🌲✨

Which part is your favourite? 👀

Currently accepting no responsibilities, plans, or interruptions because I have somewhere much more important to be 😂✨

So excited to be diving into A Court of Splintered Harmony by @sarahjmaas! Reading it on my Kobo for now while I wait for a paperback copy that matches the rest of my set 🤭

Anyone else reading it right now? 👀

300 followers!! 🥹💕📚

When I started this little account a couple of months ago, I really just wanted a place to share my love of books, special editions, cozy reading moments, and of course the occasional appearance from my reading buddy 🐾

It's been so much fun finding other people who get just as excited about books as I do, discovering new reads, chatting about our current obsessions, and getting to know so many lovely people along the way!

Thank you so much to everyone who has followed, liked, commented, shared my posts, or just stopped by to chat. It genuinely means so much to me! 🥰

Here's to many more books, cozy reading days, and Poppy appearances 📖🐾💕

This week's special edition is the @pageandwick edition of The Ascended by @breegrenwichauthor and @parkerlennoxauthor 🌙✨

This is my first book from @pageandwick and I am in love!! I love the celestial sprayed edges and dust jacket but omg the hardcover 😍 and of course I can't ignore these beautiful endpapers either!

I love when a special edition has something beautiful everywhere you look, and this one definitely delivers! 💕

📖 ARC Review: 5⭐

Thank you @authorkaepeach for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review!

I loved the first book in this series so much that I immediately jumped into Between the Lindens after finishing it, and I honestly loved this one even more! 😍

This series has such an interesting dystopian world, and I absolutely love the way we're learning more about it alongside the characters. The world building, magic system, and increasingly complex political and societal topics that are quiet relevant to the real world kept me so intrigued throughout the entire book.

I also LOVE the character development, especially our FMC, Maple. She's already a badass when we first meet her, but watching her grow and become stronger and more confident as the story progresses has been so satisfying. And the relationship between the FMC and MMC?! 🥹 I love seeing a relationship built on healthy communication instead of unnecessary misunderstandings and drama.

The other characters have grown on me so much too. I felt so connected to all of them by the end, almost like they were my own siblings or friends! The found family element is definitely one of my favourite parts of this series.

There was genuinely never a boring moment, and the slow burn just keeps getting better. The pacing kept me wanting to read just one more chapter because I always needed to know what was going to happen next.

Now I just have one problem... waiting for book three is going to be SOOOO difficult 😭😂 I already cannot wait to dive back into this world!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's honestly so disappointing seeing leaks and spoilers for this book before the release date 😭 And the fact that some stores are already selling copies early is crazy!

Please don't share or spread leaks...we've waited this long, one more week won't hurt 💕

Taking advantage of a beautiful autumn evening to relax in the hot tub with a bubble tea and a good book 🥰

I'm currently reading an ARC of Between the Lindens by @authorkaepeach and loving it so far, especially after really enjoying the first book in the series!

✨ Special Edition Sunday ✨

This week's special edition is the @owlcrate edition of A Forgery of Fate by @elimpix 🐉✨

This edition is absolutely gorgeous and might be my favorite special edition of this book 😍

It's hard to pick just one feature, but I think I love the edges the most! What detail is your favourite? 👀

They say that pets resemble their humans... 😂🐾

Poppy loves hanging out on the bed behind my reading chair whenever I'm in it, both of us wrapped up in blankets!

Wouldn't have it any other way 💕

Special edition book mail is the best kind of book mail 📚📦✨

Today was an especially good mail day with TWO gorgeous editions arriving at once! 😍

💜 @bewitched.pages edition of Clockwork Princess by @cassieclare1
🖤 @fairyloot edition of The Sweetest Fiend by @ravenkennedybooks

I honestly don't know which one I was more excited to open, they're both so pretty! I'm glad to finally complete my The Infernal Devices set and also can't wait to read The Sweetest Fiend 🙌🏻

Which one is your favourite? 👀
