What a night!

Thank you to everyone who came along and joined the fun. If we're going to significantly improve housing policy in Australia, we need people like you.

This is just the beginning and we won't stop until everyone has a roof over their head.

💚 Special thanks to:

I spent six months heading an inquiry, hearing evidence from across the country about Australia’s growing housing divide.

We learned that over the past 30 years, housing in Australia has become a vehicle for private wealth accumulation and a primary driver of widening intergenerational wealth inequality in Australia, affecting millions.

The inquiry report sets out key reccomendations for how we can turn the tide on the housing crisis and restore a system of safe and secure housing for all. by @thegreenssa

A very sad day for workers. We must ensure a sustainable, globally competitive green steel industry for Australia’s future and we must ensure government equity. by @thegreenssa

More destruction. More disruption. And a $96million price tag.

These guardians are part of what makes Adelaide so special. Can we afford to lose them? 💔 taken in Victoria Park / Pakapakanthi by @thegreenssa

After much consideration, I have made the decision that I will not be nominating for preselection for a second term in the Senate.

The reasons are personal: for the past year my partner has had brain cancer and despite his good prognosis, I’ve reached the view that running for a second term is not right for me.

The next federal election is a long way off and I still have plenty of work to do on housing, securing super for under 18-year-olds, holding KPMG to account and reforming the Big Four firms. I remain committed to continuing my work on climate and environmental justice. by @thegreenssa
