Art has a way of saying everything without raising its voice. Last night was a reminder to keep creating. by @thegregaugust

Just keeping it simple today.

Gator belts and patty melts. If you know, you know.

OutKast and Waffle House might seem like an unexpected pairing, but think about it. Atlanta hip-hop and a Southern staple, meeting at the intersection of music, food, and culture.

What caught our attention was how the collaboration took a familiar lyric and turned it into something beyond the music. The merch, the location, the experience. It gave people more than one reason to connect.

That's when a collaboration gets interesting.

Things We've Come Across. The brands, the connections, and the details worth a second look.

THIS WEEK’S SORC

Houston’s creative calendar just got a major addition.

Affordable Art Fair makes its Houston debut, bringing 55 galleries and more than 350 artists together under one roof. With original works priced from $100 to $12,000, the fair creates an opportunity to discover contemporary art at different stages of your collecting journey.

Two artists on our radar:

@kansiime_brian_ explores Black identity, heritage, and the stories held within portraiture. @steinmanjoan brings a distinct perspective to the relationship between light, color, and everyday subjects.

Different approaches to seeing the world. Both worth spending time with.

October 15–18
George R. Brown Convention Center

For those looking to experience the fair, put it on your calendar.
