❗️LONG ISLAND FOODIE SECRET: @ANAMELI.BAKERY 🔥 This little El Salvadoran food joint on Amityville’s Main Street is packing BIG flavor in the form of pupusas, tacos, sandwiches & much more. 🇸🇻 It’s family run with homemade recipes and a powerhouse kitchen of amazing women who are throwing DOWN. ✔️ 📌 The pupusas here are among the best I’ve ever had and they have a whole menu filled with all different types of fillings. The chicharron they make gets ground down and it’s amazing inside, but you can’t go wrong. If you’re not hip on pupusas, they’re a corn flour tortilla, hand crafted, stuffed & grilled. Ugh, I’m obsessed!! 🌮 The taco game here is also banging. They have a pupusa taco, but I gotta say, the PANDA TACOS are insanely good. I got it with chicken. The homemade tortilla and signature pink sauce makes all the difference. 👉 You’ll also find meat plates (loved the carne asada), empanadas, Salvadoran baked goods, quesadillas & banging sandwiches. ❗️BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN NEW YORK @SEMMANYC 🇮🇳 Semma is the only Michelin starred Indian restaurant in New York but that’s not what makes it special. Semma is a unique culinary moment as it tells the story of Southern Indian cuisine: Rich in seafood, meat & deep spice. 😋 📌 Led by Chef Vijaya Kumar, who comes from Tamil Nadu, is one a kind. His food is a love letter to his childhood, blending his region’s traditional flavor with high end vessels like lobster, crab, short rib & branzino. It’s a special menu (that’s all a la carte) that keeps me coming back time and time again. 🤙 This is my favorite Indian restaurant for its venture outside of Americanized palates and perception of Indian cuisine. ❗️BEST KEPT FOODIE SECRET IN MIAMI: @FSMIAMI 🌞 This Four Seasons property has it ALL but their secret chef’s counter at restaurant NUNA is INSANE. You’ll go on a journey of Peruvian x Japanese flavor (called Nikkei cuisine) that is not just stunning to look at, but also to eat. It’s crazy to me more people don’t know about this Miami experience… but now you do! ✔️ But that’s just one aspect of what makes this sky high hotel incredible. 📌 Four Seasons Miami has a rooftop pool (that you can get a day pass too if you aren’t staying there) that defines what luxury in the City of Sun is all about. 🍕 MUST TRY LONG ISLAND PIZZERIA: @BRAMALOBELLMORE 😋 Trust in the crust when it comes to this spot because they’ve got a pre-fermented dough that nails it when it comes to artisanal taste. Not to mention, their pies, from the NY style to Detroit, are damn good! I’ve had pretty much every pie here and it’s hard to go wrong. But that’s just the start of what makes this Bellmore place awesome…📌 If you’re a vodka sauce lover you’re in for a treat because Bramalo has all types of creations you can do alla vodka, from a chicken parm stuffed garlic knot to a chicken meatball hero to eggplant parm to a burrata crowned pasta. 👉 And don’t sleep on their Italian-American brunch or desserts either. For brunch, their Eggs in Purgatory has a nice heat that ties the sauce, eggs and bread all together. ATL Wing Spot has over 30 flavors of sauces that can get decked across wings & tenders. The Garlic Parm was smackin’ 👋 & they do not hold back with the sauces. 📌 Beyond crispy chicken, you’ll also find a fire chipotle quesadilla + a tasty hot honey loaded waffle fries situation among many other bangers. 🌞 MIAMI’S COOLEST RESORT: @THESTANDARDMIAMI ✔️ Situated on a tiny island off Miami this resort has an insane secret burger, Japanese style speakeasy, a 24/7 pool & hot tub + complimentary spa complex make this one of the hottest stays in my favorite sunny city 💛 If you’re looking for that signature posh-sexy vibe that Miami is known for, this is gonna be a proper joint to rest your head. Or grab a day pass and join in the fun which gets you access to it all. (PS: YOU CAN EASILY GET THERE BY CAR)1️⃣ The GRUBCATION aspect of this spot is incredibly proper, whether or not you stay here. Their restaurant @LidoBayside is right on the water, boasts a STELLAR sunset, and has a secret havarti cheeseburger that’s loaded with quality flavor. They also have a sweet lil cafe + a speakeasy bar that has Japanese influence all over the menu. 2️⃣ This a SPA RESORT because they have a amazing spa complex that is complimentary to hotel guests + day pass holders. Perfect way to synchronize wellness into your Miami festivities. 3️⃣ The pool & hot tub are open 24/7 and you’ll catch party vibes all throughout those times. Hanging poolside, chilling hard & even meeting new friends is definitely the move here. 4️⃣ The rooms are bungalow style and keep things easy but very comfortable. Always impressed with how Standard curated their in-room amenities program. 📌 I’m a HUGE fan of The Standard properties and was very excited to check out their Miami moment. It did not disappoint. I’m taking you on a quick journey of spots to hit next time you’re in the city.📌 Little Havana is a must stop at some point during your experience in Miami. Cuban culture is a pillar of Miami and to skip this neighborhood is to never truly know the core of Miami. These spots capture the essence:1️⃣ SANGUICH for all things Cuban sandwiches, from the classic icon to small alterations. Michelin recognized. Incredible. 2️⃣ La Colada Gourmet, a Cuban coffee roasting + coffee house. You’ll get all types of authentic Cuban coffees here. 3️⃣ Los Pinarenos Fruteria is like a step back in time. It’s an open air fruit market that’s family run. Cool down with a fresh made fruit smoothie, freshly cracked coconuts or fresh pressed sugarcane juice (guarapo)4️⃣ Cafe La Trova will quite literally teleport you to Cuba. ❗️AMAZING NEW GREEK SPOT ON LONG ISLAND @YEROSNY 🔥 This lil Saint James joint is run by two brothers who were raised in Greece and the recipes + food quality absolutely reflects that. It’s super fast casual but worth a smash if you get down with Greek flavors because this is an awesome mash up of authenticity with cool American twists ✔️ I loved everything I tried here and I’m running you through my top picks in this video. 🇬🇷 In Greece, GYRO is actually pronounced YERO which is what this spot is named after… so as you can imagine, their pita sandos are banging. They have lots of different protein options and every one gets stuffed with fries.
