Even with the low tide this year it was an epic season. Low expectations and high stoke equals a lot of sick days. Between touring with the crew to getting out in the mentorship program from @graybirdguiding and making new friends this season was one for the books!

Epic adventure last weekend with an even more epic group of friends! While it got too sketchy to summit we still covered just under 15 miles and climbed 5400ft. Even got to take a swim in the lake on the way back down. Bring on the next adventure!

Today marks 2 years since I quit drinking, and I can, with 100% certainty, say that it has been the best decision I have made for myself and only myself. I have enjoyed life more than ever, been on some wild side quests, experienced things I never dreamt of, and met some pretty amazing humans along the way. I want to thank all of you amazing family and friends, both new and old, for being on this journey with me whether you knew it or not. Some of you even think it's a good idea to follow me into the woods for some reason, lol

Beyond just the fun adventures, my health has improved drastically. Turns out chrons disease and alcohol don't play nice together. (Yes I probably should have listened closer to my doctors but hindsight is 20/20) For the first time in over 10 years I have been able to stop taking my chrons meds (after tests and doctors orders) and it has gone into remission. This is why I say it was the best decision for ME. This is not a post to push some agenda or be on a high horse, just about how my decision impacted my own life and how grateful I am to have made it. Thank you again to all of you amazing, beautiful humans.

These photos are just the last couple of months, so let's keep getting lost in the woods, finding new paths, skiing new peaks, and ripping fresh trails. Here's to the adventures to come!! I love you all!!
