We romanticize childbirth, but we don’t talk enough about the risks.

In Nigeria, women are still dying during pregnancy and childbirth at alarming rates.

And somehow, this is not treated with the urgency it deserves.

For many of us, this isn’t distant or abstract.
We all know someone….a family member, a friend , or a story close to home who has been affected by this.

This is not about discouraging motherhood.
It’s about awareness, honesty, and informed choice.

This is dedicated to the women who lost their lives while giving life. ❤️

Our global campaign against breast cancer at Bluxies Incorporated kicked off yesterday! 🎀

Last year, Bluxies Incorporated launched its first BCAM campaign and recorded over 100 participants. This year, we’re amplifying the movement even further, and we’ve partnered with some AMAZING women to make it happen.

A few weeks ago, I was on a flight when I realized I needed a pad. I rushed to the airplane bathroom, hoping they’d have something. But there was nothing. Not even a single menstrual product.

Just like toilet paper is always stocked, pads should be too. Menstrual products aren’t a luxury, they’re a basic necessity.

On this #worldmenstrualhygieneday , let’s talk about how unacceptable it is that so many public bathrooms still don’t offer pads or tampons. Planes. Schools. Offices. Restaurants.

We deserve better. It’s time we start holding establishments accountable. Period care should be standard, not optional!
