Wellllll…yesterday was the birthday, but TODAY we celebrated! 🥳💫🥂✨
Spent the day with @thehairslayer1 doing what we do best…staying READY and having a fabulous time! 😉🤌🏾💫🔥
We got an early look at DIVA at the @denverartmuseum — fashion, glamour, music and ICONS! 👠💎🎶 And Denver being the ONLY U.S. stop made it even more fabulous!
Then off to @uchiko Creek for Happy Hour…yummy bites, vino, cocktails and more birthday celebrating. 🍽️🥂🍸🥳💫✨

Happy heavenly birthday big brother.

The City of San Leandro pauses to remember former Councilmember Orval “OB” Badger, who passed away peacefully today. OB served our country as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and later launched a distinguished professional career as a vice president at AT&T, where he oversaw nationwide communications for major special events, including Super Bowls and the 1984 Olympics.

After settling in San Leandro with his wife Annie, OB immersed himself in community life. He served as a track coach at Assumption Church, was an avid golfer, and contributed his time to the Library Cultural Commission and the Board of Zoning Adjustments. In 2001, he was appointed to the San Leandro City Council. He was subsequently elected in 2004, making history as the first African American Vice Mayor of San Leandro.

As a councilmember, OB was a passionate advocate for his district. Known as “Mr. Clean and Green,” he championed the Public Works Department’s acquisition of the “Green Machine,” a street and parking lot cleaner that helped maintain a vibrant and welcoming downtown.

Following his service on the Council, OB continued his public-sector career with the City of Oakland, where for five years he managed radio communications for police and fire services.

OB’s dedication to community service extended far beyond public office. He remained actively involved in organizations such as the Optimist Club and served as District Chairman for the Boy Scouts of America, earning the prestigious Silver Beaver Award for his contributions.

On behalf of a grateful city, we extend our deepest condolences to OB’s family and friends, and we share our profound gratitude for his many years of committed service to San Leandro. In his honor, I’ve asked that our flags be lowered to half mast.

Client turned trusted friend! Help me wish @insideglyniskitchen and her phenomenal husband @geraldalbright happy birthday 🥂 on their special day. by @thehairslayer1

On Monday I lost one of my 1st role models. My eldest brother gained his wings. By example he showed me how to look and behave to garner respect, and instill confidence. He was always a phone call away when I needed advice, or direction. Even on his death bed, he was enquiring about my well being and career, even offering me advice on my latest career move. It's an understatement to say that I will miss him... by @thehairslayer1
