We went a little MIA for 2 weeks and snuck back to LA to try for round 2 of IVF. I’m so glad we did! 🥹🫶🏽

Today is world MS day. If you had of told me in February 2021 that I would be SO grateful for my disability then I would have probably laughed and then punched you in the face…but here now, reflecting on my life changing diagnosis and life in May 2025 that is exactly how I feel. MS is brutal. It is all encompassing and debilitating at times. It is often a tap on the shoulder at the most inconvenient times to say “hello - you are pushing a bit too hard and I’m going to cripple you to slow you down a bit, is that ok?”.

While MS has been a shadow that is there with or without the sun, it has also been my greatest lesson in life. It has taught me to appreciate the most simplest of joys and to celebrate life in a way that pre - 2021 I never could.

I would be lying if I said MS hasn’t broken me. I’ve been broken many times - but it has given me the courage to rebuild and repair every day, to tackle life with a “watch me” attitude, and it has given me a greater understanding of what life is all about.

This week i have had 20k steps days, climbed hills my neurologists would have laughed at the prospect of and had a holiday that 2021 me would have only dreamed of from my hospital bed.

There are so many people that I have in my corner to get me here - most of all my beautiful wife and daughter who take my arm every hill both literally and figuratively. I have many reasons why.

MS is a total bitch. A label that I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy - but it has also been one of the greatest blessings in my life. There is ALWAYS something to be grateful for, ALWAYS something to work towards, and ALWAYS someone to prove wrong.

🖤 Love from Barcelona - On top of a really big hill that I walked up 😉 #ms #worldmsday #transversemyelitis #disabilityawareness #barcelona by @thehandsomemum

A creepy Halloween grabber hand so I never have to bend over and pick anything up off the floor again.

Romance is alive and well in this household. 🥹🎃 by @thehandsomemum

Somewhere between who I’ve always been and who I’m becoming.

There’s something so sacred about this in-between limbo space. The final weeks of carrying life within me. The surrender. The anticipation. The transformation.

I can feel the maiden within me making way for the mother. Not disappearing, but evolving.

I’ve never felt more feminine, powerful or connected to my body.

What an absolute privilege it is to experience this initiation. 🤍

Thank you @kendylgabrielle_birth for capturing me and for @thehandsomemum for loving and holding me always x

Any pregnant person is beautiful but I think my wife might be the most beautiful in all the world. How did I get so lucky? 🥹 by @thehandsomemum

We can bearly wait 🐻

This little boy is so loved already by so many people. We have been so blessed by an outpouring of love from family, friends and internet friends - now we go inwards and wait to meet the next love of our life 🥹🫶🏽 by @thehandsomemum

I opted for half Baby Blessing, half Baby Shower because I’m a big bit spiritual and a little bit muggle 🤣🧸🤎

The perfect mix of sacred & sentimental.

So much intention, thought and LOVE has gone into welcoming this little man earthside. He is already so deeply loved, and he’s not even here yet. 🥹🤎

Thank you to every person who has helped us make this magic happen and been supportive, loving and encouraging along the journey with us 🙏

Happy birthday @tarasimich 🫶🏽 Friends now for over a decade and through the craziest of highs and absolute lows. So grateful to have you as my best friend, godmother of my child, boss lady, best advice giver and just all ‘round legend.

I’m so beyond proud of you and love every minute of watching your life take off while still remaining the most humble, loyal and kind human being. I’m forever in your corner.

Excited for the next decade whatever that brings - more jungle body, more kids, more tequila, more random nights giggling over silly stuff and just more of this amazing life!

Love you ❤️❤️❤️ by @thehandsomemum
